We enter the room and pull covers back , a sm piece of card board in middle of sheets , the bed was not tightly fitted , after leaving look towards the window and be hold , a roach in the room but reported it at front checkout. I forgot to take photos

Nice place to stay.

One of the nicer places to stay in Palatka. Well maintained and property is secured by fencing to keep out uninvited guests. Room was clean and well maintained. We did see and kill about six roaches during our 12 night stay, but was not totally infested with them. This is Florida where they thrive. Motel is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Will probably stay here again.

It is not quality, it’s basic. In room could be cleaned. Some Clorox will take the stains in the toilet bowl. Black areas on the lines of the tub need cleaning. The blanket over the bedsheets had some stains. The view of the lake is beautiful.

The rooms smelled of mold, and were outdated. The parking lot was being repaired and the noise of other guests was heard throughout the night. The breakfast had limited choices and the eggs gave me and my friend food poisoning. Very disappointed on the rooms for the price we paid.

The property is spread out over multiple buildings. All are beside the river and you should try for a room with an even number so you face the water rather than the road. Our room was large, 2 rooms and clean. But, the shower in our room didn't work, the valve was broken so you couldn't turn on the water. Our room had noisy late at night (Friday) but it's downtown and people heading home from bars etc are inevitable so I wouldn't ding them for that.

PROS: average quality free breakfast, parking, location. CONS: bathroom shower drips, moldy shower head, moldy faucet. thin walls. facility is very old, needs a full breakdown of building and rebuilding.
