This hotel is located right in the middle of everything. It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. Unfortunately for us, we got a room on the side of the street that had construction going on. Apparently the Danish workers start at 5 in the morning with dumping heavy concrete into dumpsters... extremely loud and horrible to sleep to. If we were there for more then one night we would differently ask to be moved to the other side of the hotel.

i booked the red boat as it was one of the more budget options expecting it to be abit dumpy. was so surprised. this boat has character and staying the night is a experience. my budget room is very small but to be expected at the price.if you can spend abit more, there are many classes of rooms from budget to superior. as a seasoned traveller i recommend this to everyone and would look forward to come back here if in Stockholm and stay in the superior seaview room next time.

Clean room, fresh bedsheets. All you need for a good night sleep after a long day of visiting the city. The building itself and lobby are very attractive and in a nice location on Sodermalm. The common shower rooms/toilets were adequate. Overall, good for the price.

Old building. small room and thin wall that you can hear next room's noise. Shared bathroom and toilet but toilets are clean and shower rooms are spacious and have enough towel. Breakfast is good and transportation is very good. Slussen subway station is very near and you can get to the hotel from Old town on foot. Good value for money but you should not expect the modern 3 or 4 star hotel.

The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk into Gamla Stan and about the same to the nearest metro station. The hotel is made up of more than one block which are linked underground, we were in the block at the back without a city view.
The reception staff were friendly, polite and efficient.
The room was clean and smart with a comfortable bed but we felt it was small with insufficient storage (drawers) for clothes. Importantly we heard no noise form the other guests and only slight traffic noise on Monday morning.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the one other meal we had in house was delicious.
Apart from the bar we did not use any of the hotel facilities so cannot comment on them.
Sodermalm district is worth a look if there is time.

The hotel is part of a hospital so it looks like private rooms converted into hotel rooms. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Staff were great and very helpful. Bit of a hike from the underground and buses only take pre-paid tokens. Very quiet and safe location. Restaurants nearby as well.
