Our room was infested with roaches, even with lights on they were all over the place in the open. There wasn’t any other place to stay so we had to stay for the night. There was also a camel spider in the bathroom. But it’s the desert so that’s not surprising.

The buildings are much older than they appear in the photos, but they appear to be working on keeping them as nice as possible, everything worked well, the room was good and everything functioned well, I would happily stay again. The area was quieter than I expected, even though it is close to the highway, there was hardly any traffic at night. The swimming pool needs more shade for the summer months.

This is an excellent little spot literally 3 minutes away from Tombstone Historic portion of town. It felt like it literally sat at the edge of town. Waking up to the view of the mountains and just sitting out and enjoying the evening was wonderful. It was a great little spot to stay a few days. Beds were comfortable, it has this oldness to it but it was a great feeling, not like something needed to be updated kind of old. The only negative thing was the drainage to the sink. It was stopped up and had a hard time draining. Breakfast was nice and simple, eggs, sausage, with options for pancakes or waffles.

The view was beautiful and scenic, as were the murals around the property. Simple hot breakfast was appreciated, without a lot of fuss and bother. The manager was fun to visit with. They had juice, yet not fresh fruit with the breakfast. The property was recently purchased by a new owner, who will be renovating each area of the property and buildings step by step, so there will be big changes happening.

Our stay

Our stay was very peaceful, I recomend it for anyone wanting some privacy and peace. The sound of the river at night while in the tub was wonderful, the lighting ambiance was perfect. Will definitely stay again!

This is an older property with a recent management change, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt that the place will be tidied up soon. I'd say it doesn't need much, but start with new mattresses first. The one in our room was so worn out the sheets wouldn't stay on the corners. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was worth waiting for each morning. We've staid here before and have no reason not to stay again!

When we checked in they told us that they were under new management so the place was in the process of being renovated. You need to keep in mind that the place is very historic so we got to see the place before the renovations and I'm glad because we were very happy with everything does the place need some updates (yes) but please don't change the staff because they were the best part of our stay and the feeling of the place knowing that the history of the place. Yes it needs some TLC but about it. Just some maintenance and work on the pool. The continental breakfast was delicious every day. Please keep the staff.....

The staff is probably the best ever. We were so taken care of. They made us feel so welcoming. We had breakfast every morning. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. They told us that the place was under new management and was going to be going through renovations. That's a good thing because it does need some tender loving care. Some updates and things like that but other than that this place is amazing. The views were spectacular the pool needs more love. Please don't change the staff.
