Shelter Cove Vacation Packages

From the outside this property looked awful, run down with peeling paint, trash everywhere, the bin overflowing, junked cars parked, some appearing not to be drivable. It was not at all a place I would choose. The pictures on the website presented a very different picture. Fortunately the office staff told us they were full and our reservation had been transferred to the Super 8 in Fortuna which was very nice and we appreciated being there.

It is a beautiful unique property. I would have loved a brochure with the history. The room was clean and nicely appointed, and staff were very friendly. I took away 1 star because the footboard of the bed was sharp and we both hit our shins on it. Also and the mattress was foam and not easy for either of us to maneuver. I would stay here again though because of its beauty i would recommend it to others- just beware of the bed frame.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Tyler took really good care of us and the room was perfect, perfect view and very comfortable

All was as described. Pretty standard roadside motel. Room interior was very dated, but ok for a cheap overnight stay. Downtown streets are just 10 mins walk.

Lots of character. Clean rooms.
