Felt I was getting bit while sleeping. Woke up with mosquito bites on my legs each night

If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip.

Pur was unique and beautiful. Relaxing. Quiet.. Sexy. Every one works there knew your name and was so pleasant and pleased to help you. Food and drinks were 💯. Hot showers cold rooms. Love the location. Will be back. Thank you for your hospitality for making me feel like family. 👍 Mark

Staff did a great job with cleaning our room. You MUST notify them when you want it to be cleaned. We booked a big room and had to downgrade to a smaller one because of construction that starts very early. I was expecting some money back or incentives due to the downgrade. But nothing. Any issues you have, and I mean as soon as it happens. Notify them. We had an issue with our golf cart the 1st day and I mentioned it. My boyfriend and hotel manager said everything was okay. And we continued driving a busted golf cart (unknowingly because no one was a certified mechanic). Until we got into an accident (yes we are ok and so was the other person) that’s when they looked at it…and what do you know? Mechanic advise us to get a new golf cart. Unfortunately this was looked at the day before we left. If you’re in your 20-35, or just lit, looking for fun vibes. This may not be the hotel. It gave very much for older folks or families. Pool is only 5ft deep and closes by 10pm. Keep in mind if it’s slow, kitchen will close early. They do provide sunscreen, aloe Vera and bug spray all the time. Food 10/10 GET THE CEVICHE. Happy hour at Aji 🔥 Cleanliness 9/10 Property 5/10 construction and the “private beach” was murky green water with lots of seaweed Staff 10/10 most of the staff were good vibes

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. We had a great time staying at Villa Massis. The entire staff was very friendly and very accommodating and very warm and they took good care of us while we stayed there.

The staff was so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Our lodging was perfect with so many amenities including blender, toaster, refrigerator, utensils and hot plate. They even had darts and pingpong next to the pool. The food was Delicious and the chefs were so accomodating. We loved every minute of our stay. It was easy to get to Big Rock Falls which was our favorite!
