Timeshare pitch? No thanks!

Right away at check in there were very strong and insisting attempts at getting you to attend a timeshare pitch. I mean you haven’t even gotten to your room yet! She says she’s the concierge and she’s giving you a discount dining card but good luck at trying to say no thank you and just trying to get to your room to rest. This makes the check in experience so uncomfortable. They also take a $200 deposit which is higher than average. The “fitness room” is a complete joke! It’s the size of the entryway in my house with a treadmill, elliptical and bench shoved together in there and 4 sets of dumbells. Not trying to be rude but I have more selection at home. And you’re paying a resort fee for this and the little bitty pool? Hilarious. The rooms are clean but all the fixtures and furniture worn and scuffed and old. The shower smelled of mildew but bed linens and kitchenette were very clean. The walls are paper thin and until midnight I could smell other rooms’ cooking smells and noisy gatherings. The price was pretty cheap and the surrounding views are nice but honestly I would never stay here or recommend it just because the sales pitch is so weird and off putting. Too bad because the person checking in was so nice but that “concierge” was so aggressive and the sales pitch setup so strange. So many other nicer places in town in the same price range. This one isn’t the best choice. Sorry.

Excellent experience. Dora and Joan were fantastic and practiced the utmost professionalism and competence. Great location and stunning views of the red rocks. Every interaction with all staff members was a pleasure. This was our first stay here and at checkout, we re-booked the suite again for a family member’s birthday later this year.

I spent an amazing couple days there… it was very nice! and the place it’s absolutely quiet and beautiful. Has 2 pools and the lil area for kids to play loved it! The suite had everything you need to prepared a meal. (Small pan and pot) So we had our breakfast in there. Close to the center of Sedona (few minutes) we had the most beautiful view from our windows! We enjoyed our morning coffee looking at the red mountains ❤️🧡 100% recommended!

Wonderful studio unit. Staff were lovely. Watch out for the time share "free gifts/discounts". Great location, clean, our room needed some minor upgrades. Lots of kids at the pool and at this time of year could be noisey Would be nice to have an adults only time after dinner so everyone can enjoy some pool time. Would definitely give it 4* and recommend it.

La chambre est parfaite. Par contre le staff du soir était très lent. Ils nous ont proposé une carte avec de l’argent qui pourrait être dépensée partout dans les boutiques. Ils ont insisté pour qu’on reste une nuit de plus. Cela semblait très fort à du forcing et semblait assez louche.

When you walk into the lobby of Bell Rock Inn, you are greeted with a chorus of ‘Welcome home!’ Within moments of our arrival, the front desk manager was snippy and condescending to her staff. Checking in was laborious and as we attempted to exit the lobby we were waylaid by a ‘concierge’ who tried to bully us into a timeshare. He, too, was snippy and quite rude. The lack of professionalism was shocking. Our room was pretty clean but very shabby and poorly appointed. We were on a little jaunt to get out of the heat of Phoenix, so we let the beginning of our visit go and went out for an early dinner. Best corn dog ever at Senor Bob’s! The next day we got up early and took a hike then came back to relax and nap. Which didn’t happen. Housekeeping was cleaning rooms on our floor and felt it was appropriate to loudly do their business and let doors slam over and over. So inconsiderate. We left for a drive hoping to find some quiet. Our resort fee was refunded for the day, which was nice, but our desire for a weekend escape turned into a desire to escape Bell Rock Inn. We left first thing this morning and won’t be back again. Welcome home? I think not. That said, this is definitely a place for young families. Our last night there we listened to children running up and down the hall and in and out of their room laughing and shouting with joy. We didn’t mind. By that time we were laughing ourselves about everything and looking forward to going back to our definition of home.
