Fantastic Hotel that Needs a Pillow Upgrade

The hotel was lovely. Great location. I got breakfast and parking included, which was a great deal. Breakfast is made to order in the bistro. Only downside was that the beds were way too firm and the pillows were awful for a nice hotel. Literally the only downside, but kind of a big one.

Although you are in the city, the lake gives a feeling of calm and openness. Very enjoyable to watch the seaplanes takeoff and land on the lake.

Pros: conveniently located if you’re attending a concert at Climate Pledge or something near Queen Anne. Lakeside rooms have a lovely view of the float plane activity and water. Beds are comfortable and sheets are nice. Walk-in shower and bathroom have a good layout and were very clean. Cons: I’m not sure this is really a “con” per se if you want convenience and walkability in the heart of a large city, but it’s not necessarily quiet late night on a weekend, or as tranquil and safe feeling on the outside. You definitely feel secure inside the property, but there’s a lot going on outside and you need to watch yourself. Marriott mobile key didn’t work for me and I couldn’t get contactless check-in.
