"Nice location, great stay"
This was a great stay for us for our first time to Charleston. We're hoping to move to the area. When we said as much, the front desk staff gave us a ticket for a free breakfast which was excellent. We didn't need housekeeping while there so I can't attest to that but they were very friendly in the hallways and there was always a lot out at a time cleaning rooms. The pool was nice, though we didn't get to use it much due to weather. Would definitely recommend and would come back if we need to come back to the area!

"nice hotel at walking distance from downtown"
Really good hotel, perfect for being really close to downtown, but nor smack in the middle of the noise. Great staff, very helpful, professionally, and friendly. The breakfast was OK, not great but within of what was advertised and expected from us. The room was bigger that I thought being an old building in a historical preserved area of the old town. Lot of interesting things to do and explore.

"Close to Everything!"
This was our second stay at Planters Inn, the first celebrating our 20th anniversary and this time celebrating our 40th! The Inn did not disappoint in any way. From the moment we arrived and the valet met us at the curb, the staff took great care of us throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, well appointed and offered everything we needed to ensure a wonderful experience. The Inn's location at the historic City Market puts you at the center of everything, restaurants and the waterfront. Hopefully, we'll be back before we celebrate our 60th!

"Best place to stay in Charleston"
Without a doubt, the King Charles Inn has the best location for your visit to Charleston. The staff were very helpful in suggestions to eat and visit while there. You are just a few blocks from Market St and King St. Happy hour at 4:00 and cookies at 8:00 were also treats not to be missed.

Myself, my daughter and 2 girlfriends stayed at your hotel May 29 thru June 1. We were greeted upon check in by Aaron who accommodated our request for adjoining rooms as well as upgrading our rooms to a lovely view of the pool, garden and water beyond. our rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and comfortable. A very tasty and hearty breakfast is provided and while enjoying breakfast by the pool one morning I was greeted by Megan Clark, the hotel manager. She was engaging and knowledgeable about the area, especially helpful, as we were visiting to investigate my daughters upcoming relocation to the Charleston area. The nearby restaurants and shopping was a welcome addition after a relaxing day at the nearby beach. Trip to Folly Beach was perfect for dinner one night too. A lovely, lovely stay on all points. Thank you we will definitely return

"Excellent location!"
We stayed at the Fulton Lane Inn May 22-26, 2017. The Inn is ideally located to be able to walk to all the sites we were interested in; city market, King St shopping, waterfront, Market Street, East Bay dining. The Inn has a quaint old world feel, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. If visiting Charleston again, I would definitely stay at Fulton Lane.

French Quarter Inn

166 Church St, Charleston - Map
"I paid what and got all this??????"
From the moment we checked in until the time we left, French Quarter Inn has everything you could ever want in a hotel. Receiving champagne checking in, to the breakfast, wine and cheese plus cookies and milk at night these are things that you normally would pay hefty additional charges for and these are ALL included in the price. All these extra's were wonderfully prepared and presented. The staff here was always super friendly and helpful. At first we thought this hotel would be very pretentious, but nothing could be farther from the truth. The rooms are very spacious and the turn down service with chocolates and water every night was a nice touch. Did I mention again that this is included in the price? The location is ideal for shopping, eating and being by the water. No doubt, if and when we return, we will be staying at French Quarter Inn.

Seabrook Island is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Seabrook Island, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Seabrook Island hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
