Very Good

My Mum and I had a lovely weekend stay in Scarborough and really enjoyed the hotel. The staff are fantastic and couldn't help enough. They explained on check-in that they are in the process of upgrading and refurbishing the hotel so we knew to expect it to be dated in areas. Despite this it was clean, comfortable and cosy.
The only negative we did have was the hotel reserved a disabled parking bay for us which was wonderful and worked great for the first 24 hours but then we went out and when we came back somebody else had parked in the space and the reserved sign with our name and reg on had miraculously disappeared! I was fuming as it meant my 80 year old Mom with limited mobility had further to walk and we couldn't guarantee getting a space at all as we had to squeeze in by the bins. I reported it to reception along with the reg of the car but felt nothing was done. Each car has to register so they could have easily located the person staying and go and tell them to move it. That was the only negative about the service.
Our room was situated right next to a fire door and the corridor was quite tight so unfortunately we had everyone banging our door with their suitcases whilst trying to get through the door, and our neighbouring room did not control their kids letting them scream and run up and down the corridors banging the fire doors, luckily this was in the morning & not at night. But we would stay again so can't be too bad!
The Hotel is located in a stunning spot overlooking the north side of Scarborough, amazing views. The Hotel is a bit worn, with marks on walls, worn carpets, etc and in need of some TLC, however, for a night or two I wouldn't, staff were helpful, there's a bar and food seating area as well as benches outside overlooking the sea. There's not loads of parking for the hotel but they offer a parking disc to park on the main strip.
Superb location, great views from the bar area. No cooked breakfast available at the time of our stay, possibly due to being quiet season.
Perfect for walks into Scarborough with lots of great pubs on the way.
One of the best weekends away we’ve had in many years

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The amazing seaview and air were refreshing. The hotel felt and looked very tired and in need of significant updating and decoration.
The staff, especially Willow and the night attendant were very kind and helpful and were a balm for us in our very small room.
This is a lovely hotel simple but with splendidly large sized rooms - mine had an en-suite bathroom and a big double bed. With wonderful views of the castle and church across the road. Well worth a visit. For cleanliness, politeness of staff and facilities it is definitely worth the cheap price I paid for two nights…..
Top marks AAA*****

Northern roadtrip
Stopped in Scarborough for 2 days . Good base to explore Yorkshire Moors and Whitby etc.
Flamborough Head and Robin Hood Bay very pretty.
Goathland is where they filmed Heartbeat. Worth short visit to see Scripps garage etc
Amazing hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Brilliant sea view from our room. Away from the noise of the South Bay and located in a quieter area of Scarborough.
It was very poor quality and very old and dated .. the pictures on the website are not accurate to represent the hotel.
It had no parking , the breakfast was terrible , a few baked items some cheese and ham slices and all this for £13
At least the Premier inn offers you a quality breakfast..
