Very happy healthy stay with nice employees!

The hotel was very cute. Not much happening during the day as the restaurant doesn’t open until the evening. However, the restaurant is worth dining at, food is delicious. Front staff is very helpful. Parking is fine as long as the restaurant isn’t open. If you happen to leave during their operating hours, parking is nonexistent when you return, but if you park in the business parking lot across the street and leave your keys with the valet along with your room number, they’ll move your car back into the parking lot after the restaurant closes, and you can grab your keys from the front desk in the morning.

It’s hard for me to make a negative review as i believe in positivity! So let me first say that i feel bad for the employees working there as they were helpful and tried their best, but they are simply at the mercy of a poorly managed hotel and have limited resources. The hotel was really great about 20 years ago, but my best description now is that it’s simply gone way downhill. The air/ventilation system is poor and the quality of nearly everything from mattress to the quality of food at the breakfast is just needing serious help. I feel bad for the staff but am hopeful that honest reviews can validate them. If this hotel is to survive, the management is going to need to put some money and resources into it. We left after two days of putting up with it and went elsewhere. Lost that money as the big problem by booking with Expedia is that you do not getting your money back unless you want to pay double just to insure you can do that. It’s a crazy world so keep on everyone, but don’t stay there—there’s so many other charming places you could pay just a little bit more for. God bless!
