The property can add microwaves to the rooms when I checked the bathroom was dirty I had to call stay to clean it the tv never worked had to call mantiance the add extra 200 charge to your credit card with no explanation
I think the staff was incredibly nice and genuine. Ginger, the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and considerate. She was amazing. I would definitely come back to see her again. Had a great time.
In my opinion, being a new hotel was a big selling point but it is so sparsely outfitted and decorated it is just plain unimpressive. I would most definitely spend the extra and go back to the Marriott Riverfront. The room size and layout are just uncomfortable. The bathroom with a sliding door offers zero privacy and the room is so cramped it's not worth the almost $300/night. I'm referring to the room with 2 Queen Beds, can't speak for the others. The "European" style breakfast is a joke. I hope they can tell that is not working by the lack of people there for breakfast. The space at the restaurant was nice but the food offering is just trying to be too upscale for a not upscale hotel. That includes the dinner menu options and whatever that breakfast was. The public area outside the elevators is uninviting, not someplace I would want to go spend any time trying to relax or even enjoy scrolling my phone. As I write that I'm realizing that is probably why they haven't made this hotel visually appealing. Everywhere you go now, everyone is just scrolling their phone so perhaps they have decided there is need for aesthetics anymore. Lastly, our room had an A.C. that had a mind of it's own and kept adjusting itself so we were roasting at night and our toilet constantly ran. Every person I saw check out before me also had an issue. One person had a wet bathroom floor the entire stay, one had a broken chair, and another bad A.C. unit. Keep looking I.M.O., there is better out there.
The hotel was new but we booked a trip to get away to Savannah and wanted a balcony room to see the river and we paid hotels.com for a balcony room and when we got there they had over booked and instead of upgrading us they down graded us for a room with no view or balcony. Our room was clean and new but our air
would just shut off and go up to 73degrees and we would have to reset it and our lights actually would also just go off. I was very disappointed in this hotel especially for this hotel to be new. The staff at the hotel was very nice and they had exceptional valet parking team. I just believe we should have been given some of our money back since we paid for that type of room and it was much more.

I did not like this property the front desk is extremely unfriendly not efficient they never fully checked me and when I came back at 4:00 pm to put my luggage in my room they told me that they were overbooked and my balcony room was given away and they only had a standard room left .
Then I prepaid for a balcony room and I had to fight for a partial refund because I was given the standard room not the 400.00 room I paid for . The hotel was extremely un helpful they did not want to refund me at all . In fact I never even got an apology for the inconvenience. When I asked for a manager I kept getting the run around !!! Run away from this hotel the staff could care less about you and they don’t even welcome you in !!! Spend your money with a hotel that cares about customers not this one !!!!!
