Very Nice Stay

This hotel was very convenient off the highway, very clean, and well priced. I was traveling with my dog and there was a door right off the room to outside for easy access for him. It worked perfectly for us!

We were given a 2nd story room next to the stairwell. There was no slowing door hardware for the door at the top of the stairs. Each time it closed it slammed so hard our room walls shook and you could feel it while lying in bed, not to mention how loud it was. It startled our dog each time. No way would we have been able to have a restful night. Fortunately we were able to switch to another room, albeit with only a single bed. The tv didn’t work in that room.

We have stayed here many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay...the rooms are always clean, well appointed and quiet. However, I was very disappointed that the beautiful pool was not available...I was looking forward to another great swim!

A Great Dog Friendly Stay

Everything about our stay was very good. We loved having a gr floor room with door to a patio wioth chairs and grass for our little dog. The continental breakfast was great especially offering a few hot breakfast choices. One thing..the hairdryer in rm103 doesnt work. I forgot to report it. Also one day, even though there was not a do not disturb sign on the door, the room was not refreshed. We didnt report that but it was disappointing. We liked having the coffee maker and coffee pods in the room but having some small "milkettes" that dont spoil in the fridge would have been convenient.

Pool closed should have but not advertised

I booked this room so me and my family could enjoy the outdoor pool. The pool was closed. No where on the website did it mention the pool was closed. I did check it says something about open seasonal. June-September I think. I live 10 mins away it was waste of time and money. We had nothing to do other than sit in the room. The carpet was super wet around the air conditioner. The staff was friendly.

We stayed on the main floor in the accessible room since it was the only room available. Our previous stay was on the upper floor and it seemed much cleaner.

This once classy hotel is now a very tired, smelly, with limited staff and very few patrons. The pool was closed, the breakfast place is only open Monday to Friday. Inside the room, the air is thick with the stench of mildew and rot. The carpet is damp, the furniture is old and dilapidated. This hotel needs a complete refurbishment. The staff were excellent and attentive.
