We wanted breakfast

The young man who helped us was great!! He was knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms: Average for what is usually a cheap room. However we were in town for an event on plaza The room was tripled and doesn't even serve breakfast. Bed is very stiff. Got up with back pain. Overall: You should be able to get what you pay for.. However this time we didn't. It is Nice that there was a fridge and microwave. I'll probably stay again because of the actual room value I saw after we checked out and the event was already over with. 298 a night during events on plaza!! usually 71 a night

When I checked in with a confirmed reservation there were about 8 other folks waiting to be checked in, not unusual for a larger facility but this place is small. The person at the front was having massive difficulties checking people in and people were becoming inpatient, but not rude. The clerk had a meltdown, threw things around, said he quit and drove away. There were no other employees to assist and the front desk was completely abandoned and open to anyone. Some patrons left to find other accommodations, most waited until almost an hour before someone could be tracked down to check people in. It was a disaster! The worst check in experience I have ever had.

I've stayed here several times. It is a basic Motel 6. If you are looking for the cheapest place with the best location in Santa fe, this is it. You get what you pay for. The walls are thin, the beds are firm, but this place is in walking distance of the Railyard and a ton of great restaurants, bars, and history. You stay here for the location, not the comfort. If you're coming to Santa fe to spend most of your visit in the hotel, this place is not for you. If you want to spend the day exploring and have a cheap, safe, place to rest your head at night, this is the best option.

I would not stay here again. It was noisy and grubby and I had some rando knocking on my door at 10:30pm, so it didn't feel very safe or secure. I was barefoot inside and my feet got filthy from the floor. No breakfast offered, minimal amenities, and not much cheaper than other options nearby.
