The hotel could not check us into our room until about 6 PM, even though we arrived at 5 PM. The one representative working the front desk explained to us that the hotel was short of staff, and that this is a recurring situation. The manager, according to this representative, had already gone home and left the headache and problem with this one representative! As such, the manager was derelict in his/her duty.

Terrible experience - Reservation was not found...

I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at this Holiday Inn location. I had a confirmed reservation through a third-party platform, but upon arrival, the receptionist could not find it. To resolve the issue, a representative from the booking platform called the hotel directly. However, the receptionist on duty was completely unhelpful and showed no willingness to assist in locating or honoring my reservation. Their lack of cooperation and poor attitude made it impossible to resolve the situation. As a result of the receptionist's failure to help, the booking platform was forced to find me a new reservation at a different hotel. This caused significant inconvenience and stress after a long day of travel. I would strongly advise against booking at this hotel, especially if you are using a third-party reservation service. The lack of professionalism and customer service from the front desk staff is unacceptable.

While a few minutes from the main downtown, it's a nice location. There's quick and easy access to walking paths and trails. Parking and check in were easy and I felt safe leaving my bike locked in the lot overnight. Rooms are also big enough to bring a bike inside. The beds and rooms were modern and comfortable, and they had nice soap/lotions. Could hear some folks talking on the patio one night but otherwise couldn't hear too much between rooms. They have free cookies in the lobby!

Our toilet seat was VERY loose. I asked the front desk to send a maintenance person to fix it, however he said that the mx personnel had left for the day. So, I tightened it myself, by hand. For the almost $200 per night, I would expect EVERYTHING in our room to be perfect!!
