Lovely stay, people and food&drink, but bad sleep!

This place has a fantastic team working in it and the service, food and drinks! However, our issue came with the room, which was on the first floor facing the pool - nothing wrong with it, but does not represent the ‘comfort room’ which we paid extra for - we were given what looked like the standard room and were woken on numerous nights by bin men and people shouting in the streets. What I will repeat is that the food was fantastic here - we had breakfast numerous days and had pizza by the pool which was lovely! The staff were so friendly too and always were kind on our way into the hotel. Would stay again, but would ask to face the back of the building and pay for standard room!

If you’re staying at this hotel and you rented a car you would need to park out on the street and get a parking ticket for your length of stay and put it in on your dash. There is restaurants that are near by and it is walkable. There is also a small convenience store near by to get water, soda, and snacks. Everything is walkable or by scooter or car.

Would highly recommend it. The property is beautiful, staff were all very friendly and helpful, wonderful breakfast, beautiful grounds and walkable (30 min) to main square of Sorrento. We really enjoyed Saint Agnello as well. We miss it and would very much stay there again when we are in the area.

Was a beautiful hotel but in my opinion overpriced. The room and the view was beautiful but seems like they could fix a few things in the room including the door to get in. Also we had the cleaning lady walkin while we slept in. The staff at the front desk weren't really friendly and the pool chairs were all taken by people who lay their towels down in the morning and leave but claim chairs. The bar staff was amazing and are what make the experience. Personally I wouldn't stay here again.

This hotel is everything. The staff were attentive and kind. The breakfast was a mix of American and European style breakfast and was very convenient. As a celiac, the staff remembered and brought out an assortment of gluten free bread and pastries each morning. I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Our stay at majestic palace was relaxing, beautiful and excellent. As it was our first time in Sorrento, staying at this location was so convenient. We were able to walk to the beach and all the other local stores and restaurants around. The view from the hotel was also spectacular and staff was very kind and attentive. Can’t wait to stay here again.

It was very walkable to bus stops and train station. Walkable to a beach and some good restaurants. The staff in the dinning was wonderful, helped us warm up our baby’s food. The staff in the upstairs lounge, one woman was too aggressive for me. Questioned why I was there -I asked if it was a private event and she said no- so I was confused - then she asked if I was going to order drinks, after I said yes, she asked “how many” I felt very unwelcome. Other than that the property is beautiful and our tours were able to pick up and drop off from here so it is a good location to stay. So be outspoken if people are rude to you, I let it slide but I regret it.

Lovely property close enough to the hustle & bustle of the centre of Sorrento. It far enough away to enjoy a peaceful stay. The pool area was quiet but was not opened until 9am so if like me you like to enjoy the peaceful time as sun rises you can sit by reception to read u til the pool gates are opened. I unfortunately had a fall during my stay whilst walking around Sorrento (be careful as the paths in Italy are not the best) and was only able to obtain one ice pack from the staff at reception even though I needed one for my ankle &my knee and then the next day they had none when I asked. Prices at the terrace bar are excessive €12 for a soft drink! Also was charged for the complimentary water each day which we’d assumed was free.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice pool and beautiful rooftop bar. A bit of a walk from the main square in Sorrento but there are plenty of closer restaurants. Taxis are very expensive even to the Piazza which is only a 5 minute drive. Ubers do not operate in the area.
