Charming little hotel close to the promenade, the pedestrian shopping area and the casino. Breakfast was wonderful with a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Poor value

First of all I need to mention that this hotel is located in the appartment building on a 4 floor where it has multiple rooms that resemble hotel rooms. The room itself was clean, but had an ancient furniture and was very tiny. The hotel has only limited parking space, so when I arrived the receptionist offered me to park my rental car on the street parking, because it is free from 8:00pm to 8:00am and wake up at 8:00am the following morning to pay for the meter. Overall this hotel is not bad, but not for the price they charge. Yet, it is located in very convenient area and the person who checked me in was very responsive and spoke excellent English.

Very close to the beach. Very close to nice outdoor dining and shopping areas. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very nice buffet breakfast. Only unusual feature: when leaving and locking your room, then must hand in the key to the office and upon return, retrieve your key to reenter your room. Interesting tradition.

Property is small and clean. The location is on the port side of town not by the beach. Though that does make it closer to the shopping center of town. Lots of restaurant options. Breakfast was very good. They do not have parking. Overall a good value and experience.

We got a double sea view and the room is a bit smaller and uglier than the pictures, and had an off putting smell, but was clean and comfortable enough. Location and view are great, and the staff was very friendly.

Falsely advertised as a hotel with parking

It is not an Hotel. It should not be advertised as such. They converted a portion of a condo into rooms. The rest of the building is a condo tower. Reception is on the 4th floor. Very confusing.

Great location, But, at night people in the next room we’re noisy until 3am and I had to call the desk twice to have them talked to. Walls are very thin! Single room is extremely small for the price. But the other nice consierge allowed me free parking so I gave 2 extra stars

The hotel is lovely, A/C was working, everything was clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff lovely. However, the page is a bit misleading as the hotel does not offer parking. There is only on-street parking or on a parking lot close by. It was a bit confusing and annoying as they advertise it but in the end all worked out well. I would definitely stay here again

Oh where to start? Well lets see: there's no valet parking available even though it clearly states there is for 19 euros a night, so spent two hours trying to find parking midday on Easter Saturday... not fun. airconditioning, only available in the high season though on the website is does not state this. Hotel bar, there is one but they don't offer anything other than coffee and given you have coffee making facilities no one would use it even for this. price: BEWARE, hotel.com confirmed the booking price but when we paid on departure the hotel charged us another 30 euros because we had a triple with 2 ad and 2 ch- (for 2 children to have breakfast) even though on our booking we clearly stated it was that. hotel isn't so much a hotel as a floor in the middle of a residence apt block, the 4th floor to be precise, very strange. rooms were dated but very clean and of a good size. shower was pretty poor. breakfast was ok and adequate. hotel position was excellent but given that you cannot find parking in the middle of san remo most of the time why anyone would stay here I don't know unless you walked off the street. nice side sea view. complete trade descriptions falsehoods in the hotel description the main one being parking. totally let down by hotel.com on this and their customer service was absolutely atrocious.

November at Sole Mare, San Remo

The hotel is well placed for the seafront and main town shopping area, with a brief walk to the port and its restaurant area. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and our room was spacious, if a little clinical. Breakfast was good.

Clean, budget hotel

Stayed in the newly furbished single room and I loved it! The room is small but very functional, with all the knobs and switches etc at the right places. Only con is the room insulation is not very good, and I can hear people walking up the stairs, going into the room next door, etc. The noise was bearable for me, but some may find it too loud. Very good location, only about a minute's walk to the shopping street and 3 minutes' walk to the casino.

Good budget hotel

Sole Mare is a great budget hotel! Conveniently located. Only cons is the room insulation is quite bad. You can hear conversations of your next door neighbours, but i think that may be a flaw of old buildings in Italy. Overall an enjoyable stay!

Good hotel, great service and stuff

It is very good service and nice stay. Rooms are good enough, breakfast was good and stuff were very helpful. It is not an hotel which you used to, starting with 4th floor but when you're inside, you feel it is good hotel. Definitely recommend.

Quick trip to Italy

We booked a quad room and was worried the room would be small for all four of us..... Room was really big and had it's own balcony. Hotels staff were really friendly and teen let us park our car down their side alleyway. Great breakfast too, included in the price.would visit again.

emded up paying way too much. Reserved room for four but when I got there at midnight they showed where hotels.com communicated room for three. Had to take second room. Also hotels. Com showed pricing in dollars and after room was booked the numbers showed up in euros -10% higher in dollar value.
