I absolutely love this hotel the quality of my stay was perfect the staff from the general manager to the front desk to the house keeping they are so friendly. I first came for work but literally enjoyed the stay so much I came back to bring my family to enjoy the experience the breakfast is always amazing pool is always warm it is clean and tidy I will definitely return for work as well as leisure through out the year definitely my hotel yet!!

The parking was great, the staff was so friendly! The lobby smelled so good, and was decorated for Halloween! The only problem I had but pushed through was the bed sheets were stained and the one was on inside out lol. A little dusty, but we were only there for one night so it was whatever!

Decent place

This hotel was okay. I’m surprised a bit at the high rating it has just because it seemed a little rough and worn down around the edges- the hallways etc. But we loved the Halloween decorations and the breakfast options were some of the best we’ve seen in a long time- so that was a plus! There is also a few restaurants and a little strip mall type thing in walking distance which is nice.

The room itself was pretty clean. Beds were clean, but pillows were not comfortable. The bathroom floor needed a deep clean. There were cobwebs up in a corner of the shower. Toilet would not flush when we arrived and a maintenance man had to fix. The hallway carpet needed vaccuumed and the elevator floor remained unmopped the two days we were there. The hallway smelled of Marijuana the entire stay. I asked for a room on the back side at check-in to avoid busy riad noise, but was told there were no rooms that were clean in the back side. This was at 3pm.

Bed was hard, comforter was not very thick. Overall, room was ok. Breakfast was great, do not serve the same thing every morning. Lobby had the disgusting smell of marijuana from one of the guests that had obviously been smoking it. Pool was good, coffee bar was great.

Uncomfortable bed

Checked in late/10pm, waited a few mins or so and the girl came to the desk said she was cleaning. The king bed in 227 is horrible and the sheets are polyester, the sofa bed wasn’t clean and the mattress on that was horrible, creaks real bad!! The other side of the king bed was ok (near window) tell the bed has not been rotated ever.

The room that we initially checked in was in poor condition. The bathroom was very dirty and there were a lot of dead flies lying everywhere. The receptionist eventually changed our room to a slightly better cleaned room.

Very nice and clean host tone with an indoor pool and very convenient location to get on to the different ferry systems that will take you out to the Lake Erie Islands. There is a fast car charging station right across the street from this hotel. It's on the EV Connect network.

Over priced for the condition

Staff at front counter was rude and not helpful. For the price I expected the hotel to be in better shape, carpet was wore and stained, thete were dirty towels in our room. There was a situation with a female guest it was loud and police were called. She was yelling etc in the middle of the night, this went on for over an hr before the police removed her.

Our room was clean. Hotel itself needs up graded. For the money it was worth it. Conveniently located. trains near bye runs all night probably once and hour but seemed closer than that. And you differently can hear it. Staff was friendly and no issues with our room.
