Absolutely 100% true that we were in walking distance of The Mid-state Fair. Appreciated the parking attendant, staff was friendly. Breakfast options were great, but I felt the cook was not happy, all in all we would define stay there again

The staff was amazing and super helpful. The pool and hot tub could use a once over but we’re enjoyable and something we did not know, there is a mental health treatment facility (what appeared to be a state funded former hotel housing mental health patients) directly adjacent to the property. With that said our stay was uneventful and the breakfast was great.

We stayed during the mid state fair and apparently during some bike tour. We had 3 people staying in a King Suite with pull out bed. Discovered there was no bedding in the room for the pull out. They would only allow one car per room in the parking lot. No advanced warning. Said we could park on the street. No parking was available because of the fair. Fifty plus cyclists walked their bikes down the hall between 6 and 7am and out the back door which slammed each time. It was a miserable stay because of it.

It was a 5 minute walk to the fair grounds,which was convenient since we left our car parked on hotel grounds. Breakfast had good choices and associate Jim attended us very well.
