Very nice lodge, especially all info about trees and other species. We loved the fire pit and the candles they lit every evening. The rooms are basic and thin walls. The resturant was ok, the breakfast menu was great with a lot of options. Definitely stay here again for a few days. Its 2 km from town, so a car is recommended.

The room and the kitchen were spotless and very adorable. You are treated with kindness. Even the cleaning staff remembers your name. We love this place. We’ve already booked a stay for next year. The jungle is just beautiful. The restaurant on site named Fiona was excellent also. You would do well and be very happy staying here.

Restaurant was well decorated, the staff was very friendly and food was delicious. We did 3 tours and they were all great. Tour payments need to be paid in cash or through a phone call, which seemed unusual but worked fine.

Our stay at Maya Mtn Lodge was great. It was a quaint little place in the jungle. Our room was clean and quiet. The staff was super nice and helpful. The restaurant staff were lovely, and the food was excellent. I did a birdwatching tour one morning, which was great. We saw many different types of birds that I had never seen in the wild before. We had a large shared covered deck area outside our room, which was a really peaceful area to hang out.

We loved our stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge. Though the rooms are not glamorous, the location was great and the staff absolutely outstanding. Every single staff member was attentive to our needs. They made our planning effortless by arranging everything for us. They greeted us with smiles and were knowledgeable of local flora and fauna and enjoyed sharing their knowledge with us.
