When pulling up to the property, it looks pretty nice and in line with other Country Inn and Suites that we’ve stayed at/seen. Upon check in, the staff member apologized because the elevator wasn’t working and we were on second floor. The elevator hasn’t been working at this property since 07/26/2025. This is a good clue about the management interest in maintaining the property. Vending machines were pulled out at some point and the floor was filthy where they remained. No hot tub. It’s been covered by plywood. The pool was very cold so the kids weren’t able to swim long. The pool bathroom was filthy. It should be noted that there is NO LOCK on the door to the pool. There is a very tall handle, presumably so young children can’t reach to gain entrance. The guest room we had was okay. We used a pool towel to clean the bathroom floor as there was hair on it from previous occupants. There was also “body hair” in the tub and stuck to the shower walls. The shower head needed replaced. Hot water only lasted a short time before it went cold in the shower. The comforters were very shabby and needed replaced. The hallway smelled heavily of air freshener. It was odd. After reading reviews we decided to forgo the breakfast. We won’t stay here again. Too many issues for what they charged per night. This does not meet expectations compared to other similar hotels at this price point.
