Good stay

Good stay . Damp smell in corridor. However didn’t effect the stay. Noisy air con (heating unit) not much choice for breakfast wouldn’t bother next time. However overall good stay.

Stay at Kyriad Caen

Stinky hallways, mold in the room, and broken toilet seat. The place didn't feel very clean. We are not the picky kind, and stayed in multiple hotels in the past months and this is our lowest quality one. A little too spartan for us. But their staff is nice. Other advantage: next to a nice supermarket.

Arrived 11pm so just needed a bed - and that was practically what the room contained but that was not a problem as we set off early the next day. Bed was really comfortable.

This is a very basic hotel. The bathroom is a single room (no shower curtain).

This is a budget hotel. The rooms are small but our bed was comfortable. There is just enough room in the en suite bathroom. The towels are too small but additional ones are available. The hotel offers breakfast if ordered the day before but the adjacent hypermarket does too, except Sundays, with more choice and more space. Restaurent Le Tablier, 10 mins walk away, was good for dinner. City centre is a 15 minute drive away.

The receptionist was helpful. The room was clean also the bathroom. The double bed mattress was actually two single mattresses meeting in the middel Not what I expected, The bnotedroom- the space between the side walls and bed was very narrow one had to walk sideways. not good.It was however very cheap and good value.

The hotel was easy to access on the outskirts of Caen, it was reasonably priced. The rooms were small (esp. the bathroom) but clean and sufficient. There was a simple buffet breakfast available and a supermarket nearby.

Thank you to the very helpful staff. Rooms were nice and clean, parking very handy, food places and facilities very close during the week days, but closed during weekend.
