"Good hotel for a stopover with breakfast included."
This hotel was OK all the way. Nothing extravagant but good for a stopover. Very usefull breakfast is included for people who don't need to take a hearty breakfast, but if you do just a few feet away there is a Denny's and you get a 10 percent mark down by showing your hotel card. The hotel is far from downtown (that is why we marked it as OK vs pleasing), you need your car to go out in the evening, there is not much to do around the hotel. The fact that it is further from downtown though, makes it very quiet at night, so you do get a good nights sleep. So if you pass through Rutland and need a hotel for a good nights sleep before continuing your journey this is a very good place to stop. Breakfast, wifi, clean and quiet, everything you need for a good stopover.

"It's OK"
The place does do Welfare tenants, however they seem to put them in another section. As for the hotel, front desk staff, friendly, helpful and nice. Rooms are worn, tired and in need of upgrade, so does the condition of the place. However, was clean, comfortable night's sleep and in a pinch to save, not a bad deal if you need a shower and sleep.

"Nice rest stop."
Check in was easy and the rom itself was very clean. Beds are very comfortable. There were 3 ice machines but the 2 on the second floor were not working. The swimming pool was small but a good size for the kiddos.

"Clean hotel close to Killington Ski Area"
We stayed in a ground floor suite with a couple in the room adjacent. The room configuration was unique--we had our own entrance with a foyer. The suite was spacious, clean with an updated and most comfortable bed/sheets/pillows. An attempt to update throughout was achieved; however, the carpeting looked tired. The kitchen was stocked minimally-just enough plates/flatware/glassware for 4 individuals. Pots and pans/bowls were also minimal. No sharp knives to cut cheese/veggies- thank goodness my husband always travels with his "boy scout" pocket knife! The kitchen had a full compliment-microwave, full size stove and refrigerator, wrap around cabinets, granite countertops. The dining area was ajacent to the living area with a dining table accommodating up to 6 individuals. We arrived on a Wednesday and stayed through Saturday....our rooms were quiet until Friday evening when someone arrived to occupy the suite on the second floor above us. We experienced loud banging noises from 10:00pm until 2:30am...reported to the front desk following morning. Staff was most accommodating, friendly and receptive. Would definitely stay next season but consider a second floor suite due to our experience on Friday evening.

"Good hotel and getting better"
Nice hotel just on the edge of Rutland. Small gym but it was clean and well maintained, indoor pool area was nice and relaxing. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. They were in the process of updating some of the rooms, but they made sure it didn't inconvenience anyone, and it's nice to see that they were putting the effort into room maintenance.

"A good stay for the price."
A good stay for the price. Hotel is dated, and services are fairly minimal, but we were on our way to ski at Killington and just needed a place to crash! For the price it is a good deal - what do you expect? Very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff.

Dingy and dark. Old, old. Bed was comfortable, it was conducive of a good nights sleep, that's all I needed. The bathtub surround was black with mold.

Rutland is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Rutland, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Rutland hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
