If you like ghetto, this is the place for you!

No microwave in room

When we got to our room initially, I was looking for a vending machine out in the hall and went into a little alcove where there was a young man sitting on the floor in the corner, with bags of his belongings, very disheveled. I went and told the desk about it and they got him out of there. But the doors to the exterior didn’t lock. There was a keypad that was supposed to open the door, but they weren’t locked. The toilet paper roll was almost empty when we got there, I ordered more from the front desk on the phone and he said housekeeping would bring it to me. 20 minutes later when it hadn’t arrived, I called and he said I had to come get it myself at the desk. Later when I asked if they had an ice machine he said it was down the hall. When I went down the hall I found a machine that was not functioning in any way. It was broken, rusty and deteriorating, dirty, completely nonfunctioning. nothing was mentioned in the write up that there was no lift in the hotel. The walls in the hallway had blue painters tape on them and and the drywall unevenly taped and not painted, where repairs were made to a very large area, there were orange peels on the floor along the hallway, everything seemed to be in a bad way.

Nice rooms with modern decor and we liked having the pool table in the lobby for something to do.
