Excellent!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely excellent! The location was perfect, everything was super clean, and the staff was incredibly responsive. The receptionists were very professional and always ready to help. A special thanks to Carlos, who spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to make our stay even better. One of the highlights was the amazing coffee shop inside the hotel. They gave us a tour of how they roast the beans and explained the different tasting profiles in detail. The person who runs the coffee shop is a true expert, and we felt very lucky to learn from him—it made our mornings extra special. I highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable, well-located hotel with top-notch service and unique touches that make it unforgettable!

Great Place

Great hotel to stay at on West End. Close to all shop, bars and restaurants. Beach access with chairs was a plus as well. I think the only downside would be the Saturday late night loud cars and loud music driving by between the hours of 10pm to 4am. I wish they could close the street down on Saturday nights.

The beach is steps from your room with free chairs and towels. Shopping and dining is all within walking distance. Many activities to chose from with boats at every dock and water taxi to take you anywhere else. This was a great experience and I will definitely book again!

We just returned from an amazing week at Mr Tucan.. The staff is top notch.. extremely friendly and helpful for all your needs!! We loved it!! The perfect location to the beach and all the restaurants/bars and shops.. Bean Crazy is a fabulous breakfast/lunch spot.. the only negative we have is we didn’t stay long enough 🙂 Soo much to do!

This hotel was great! The location is on street with food options and shops. It is right across the street from the beach. They have lawn chairs on a nice, clear water beach. The rooms are very nice. The staff is helpful and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast at hotel had good options and was really good. Beach is in front, only bad thing is that it can get a bit crowded on weekends. It should be only for hotel area, but good overall. Ipanema restaurant was a bit expensive but food, view and staff 10/10. Argentinian grill was good, they take their time but good, staff need more training to make it more welcoming but good overall. Mr. Tucán was great, David y Yubelis were amazing!

If you are driving to the hotel understand the parking faces the rear of the hotel. The sign is not big enough so if you are not attentive you will pass right by it. The facility was clean and very conveniently located. We rented a car and didn't really need it. Everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast was ok. I wish the cafe would stay open for evening drinks.

We loved our stay at Mr. Tucan. It was quiet, clean and super convenient. Our kids loved that it was a stone’s throw to the beach. Our room was one of the suites tucked away toward the back of the hotel (away from the main road), so it was very quiet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Oh! And huge props to the fine folks at Bean Crazy for the amazing breakfasts. I’m a “Typico” girl for life now 🙌.

This is an awesome place to stay in the center of West End. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and breakfast options were a plus. We ended up extending and extra night because we loved the area.
