The staff here is amazing. They are so kind and helpful! It’s walkable to the blue lagoon, but they also offer shuttle service which is super nice. If you’re looking to save some money but want to stay near blue lagoon this place is a great option.

The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. There’s a rest area equipped with a large TV, which was a nice touch. However, the kids’ channels in the room weren’t working, which was a bit disappointing.

If it wasnt for the location i wouldnt bother staying here. It was just an average stay with a huge price tag. The rooms are not the nicest and the bed was very uncomfortable.

The staff is the best asset of this establishment. The front desk staff, the kitchen/dining room staff, the room attendants wer all kind, attentive and quick to help.10 across the board. The hotel was quiet and clean and inviting. Being nestled on an 900 year old lava bed and surrounded my the beautiful volcanoes made it even more appealing. I will definitely return and recommend The Northern Lights Inn.

They had the most flexible breakfast times, an incredible restaurant, and more amenities than any other hotel we stayed at. The view was a bit harsh, lava rocks and a power plant.
