The photos of the property did not accurately depict the hotel. It is very dark on the inside, the plank flooring had gaps in the flooring, the shower although it was nice looking did not have “hot water”. The restaurant was very nice and the staff was lovely- the lobby staff was very curt. It is not near the airport, there is a bus available, we waited about 45 minutes for the bus and it drops you off about 1/2 mile from the airport (maybe a little more). They do offer car rentals and they were all terrific with very nice and helpful staff!

Did not feel particularly comfortable in the area, lots of people outside watching. The hotel was in renovation so had to go in this back door with a lot of sketchy looking people always by the door. Inside of hotel was nice. Room was nice and comfortable and close to airport for our early flight home

Our room was very nice and the staff were helpful. My only disappointment was the way in which the "free airport shuttle" was advertised on Expedia. You had to click on the "i" symbol to learn that the free shuttle was only from the hotel to the airport and not in the other direction from the airport to the hotel upon arrival.

If you don't have a car you are virtually stranded....we wanted to explore Keflavik but no way of getting there. Sat down on a chair and the legs broke and I ended up on the floor

Nice new looking rooms. Downside isxhard floors in room. If you are not on top floor it can get noisy from rooms above. STAFF ARE GREAT. VERY HELPFUL. BEARBY CONVENIENCE STORE. FAIR PRICES. ALOT OF LITTER AROUND HOTEL. I THINK IT IS REBUILT AIR FORCE BARRACKS. WOULD STAY AGAIN. LIMITED SHUTTLE TO KEF. YOU MUST BOOK IT TO GET A SPACE. WE TOOK THE 4 AM AND IT WAS BUSY.

This is a great hotel if you have a quick stop at KEF. The airport shuttle in the morning to the airport was convenient.

Property was clean, rooms appear recently updated. They are still renovating the entrance so you had to enter the hotel from the back parking lot. We stayed there as it is pretty close to Keflavík airport and we had an early flight. Hotel offers a shuttle to the airport which was great but not from the airport which we found a bit odd. Hotel has an onsite bistro which is convenient as there is not much in the area of services. However the bistro is located on the 2nd floor right by the guest rooms so it was noisy until the bistro closed at 9pm. It is a good option if you need a hotel room right by the airport.

This accommodation was very clean and felt like a higher end hotel, despite being reasonably priced. The food at the restaurant was good but expensive, and the breakfast in the morning was also great, but very expensive. Enjoyed our stay before the flight here!

Pick another hotel by the airport

The property was undergoing major construction which it failed to mention anywhere. We could not find where to enter the building. Once we did, we were surrounded by a grassy area full of trash where smokers gathered, and a dirty door and entrance area. The lobby was badly lit, everything was very dark. Our twin bed room on the first floor had easy-to-reach but very dirty windows. One pillow only and one duvet blanket only per bed. It was the least attractive hotel and hotel room of our stay but it was a large space, although in dire need of more furniture, such as night tables. Airport shuttles are offered to the airport only on the hour, surprising given it’s just an 8-minute drive away
