We had a lovely stay at Casa Dolce Casa. The room (we booked the Romantic Deluxe Suite) was spotless, cozy, and had an incredible view. The bed was really comfortable, and everything felt very well-maintained and peaceful. The staff was also super friendly and helpful throughout our stay! Breakfast was simple but decent – the usual selection of pastries, fruit, coffee, etc. Nothing fancy, but a nice start to the day. Just a heads-up if you're arriving by public transport: even though the hotel says it's about a 17-minute walk, it’s essentially all stairs! Not ideal with luggage. Also, to get down to Amalfi or the ferry docks, you need to climb about 10 minutes of stairs first, so keep that in mind if you're planning to commute daily. One small note – the bathroom in the Romantic Deluxe Suite has see-through glass walls, so probably best suited for couples rather than friends! Overall, Casa Dolce Casa is a beautiful and clean place to stay with breathtaking views – just come ready for a bit of a leg workout!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Dolce Casa! The peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing, and we especially enjoyed sipping wine on our patio in the evenings. Just a heads-up—if you’re planning to have breakfast outside, you might have to share the space with a few bees or wasps. Other than that, everything was wonderful. It’s a fantastic spot for anyone looking to escape the crowds while still having easy access to popular tourist areas by public transport. Highly recommend—10/10

Beautiful view, but unfortunately the rooms lack privacy which made it difficult to enjoy it. Rooms are not soundproof, and the staff meant well but was inexperienced and lacked professionalism. At these prices, there are options which are closer to the town center, have better service and amenities, and are overall a much better value.

Beautiful with exercise

Wonderful room with gorgeous views. Communication was excellent from hosts. 10 min uphill walk to Ravello square to find shops, food, and to catch the bus or taxi. I felt a bit taken advantage of when they offered for a taxi to pick us up and take us to hotel for $80 euro after being around a day we discovered we could have taken city bus to same place for $3 euro for 2 of us! 😯 They didn’t encourage us to go to Amalfi as they want business to stay local but we are glad we took the bus and went, however for a more peaceful less crowded experience Ravello is perfect.

Just Awesome

Amazing stay! We enjoyed the apartment. Super clean, nice colors, and balcony was quite beautiful. Very quiet. The walk-hike to town can be challenging. Two choices. A stairway across street will take you directly up to town in 10 minutes. Approximately 200 steps! But good views during quick breaks to catch breath. Second choice is walk the road up doing 2 or 3 switchbacks; takes about 15-20 minutes. More flat but still a climb. The town of Ravello is everything you expect and more. Definitely recommend! We loved Casa Dolce Casa

Great, helpful staff. Excellent brunch. Although it was hard to find the front desk upon check-in, and it is a 9 minute walk from the city square, but it's 9 minutes of stairs, so it is a little inconvenient to get around on foot.

I had a sweet stay at my home sweet home. I had a corner room with an excellent view. There were two large windows overlooking the sea. They brought me breakfast to my room and was able to have breakfast in bed to enjoy the beauty. It is a short walk uphill to the Ravello center. I also loved my bathroom. Anthony and Ilenia were helpful. Keep in mind that this hotel does not have a pool or a bar so it is quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

It is a perfect boutique hotel. About 9km from the Port of Amalfi. This area of Italy has a lot of hills and mountains. To get to Ravello ( a beautiful little town) up from where we stayed takes someone to be in great shape. You can walk stairs about 260 steps then you are almost in town. We took the long way. I had a wonderful experience with what they called a Turkish bath. A moist sauna then a steam shower. So beautifully relaxing. The service was excellent. You can get breakfast daily - highly recommended. We booked ours that way. What a way to have morning coffee. Times are flexible for breakfast - 7:30 onwards. The room was so clean and bed comfy. One thing that might make it much better is working a deal with the hotel right next door for use of the pool even if it cost a bit. The hotel does have a pool but it is up in Ravello - I loved it here we had ocean views. Also maybe a couple of scooters to rent by hour to get up to Ravello for those of us that can not do the walk. Thank you for providing such a great four days. It was amazing! Below a few pics from and of our room.

A gem with incredible views!

Amazing! We found a gem. Our suite was called Perla. In the middle, with easy access to the street by a private door. The suite was huge, very clean and with amazing views. The bathroom was large, fully renovated with real Italian tile, since the owners also own a ceramic shop. The service was so friendly. They offered our family of four to take us to the restaurant owned by them. We agreed! The owner picked us up and took us to the restaurant 10 minute drive away so we didn’t have to deal with the car. The restaurant has a Michelin key! It was so good! The room also comes with its own terrace with a view of the sea. We enjoyed Prosecco before dinner. Breakfast is included, and you must choose it at check in, but in the morning it is waiting for you. They also offered free parking. Just perfect. We went up to the town via the tunnel and the many stairs and it was free of crowds and so so cute.
