Wonderful hotel! Friendly front desk experience. Pool was great, but service was slow. They said they were in training, so it was all good. The room was a good size and quiet. The location couldn't be any better for the Golden 1 Center. Highly recommend.

Our room was a studio with a kitchen on the 8th floor. It was well designed and decorated. The bed was comfortable as well as the sofa. Everything was clean and in working order. Our room was quiet with minimal street noise. I appreciated the convenience of parking in the garage next door with in and out privileges and not needing a valet to get the car. We brought our breakfast so can't comment on the quality of the hotel breakfast. Overall, I was very pleased with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Welcome was tepid at best. I was told there was $150 security deposit which I did not know about. It was not on Hotels dot com site. Hotel insisted it was and was very dismissive. I just checked and it is not listed. To be safe, I slept with my own blanket and comforter which I had just washed as to not touch their linens. I slept on top of theirs. I had two 10 pound dogs I had paid for which was disclosed on hotels.com but out of fear kept them in crate . Shower did not work. Gave this okay rating because I do not want trouble. Staff at Cafe were amazing. Don't know if I got my $150 back. My main concern today. Dropped off key at 8 :03 to manager type person who would not open door which said 8 am. I dropped in slot because he would not open door for me. I am a senior citizen who is confused by all of this. Place has potential but very over priced to be out by a dumpster with no working shower. I do recommend because of location only but be careful.
