Great location on the beach. Pool is crowded and have to arrive early to get one of the few lounge chairs. Good food at restaurant and competitive prices. Most staff is transactional and don't expect much friendliness, but the jobs are executed; need to double check accuracy for everything especially at check in, and don't expect any extra efforts or sense or urgency. Rooms are acceptable if expectations are aligned to an older property. We would return for the location and fair price but that's all.

The property is a little south for my liking, and the check-in/out process was lengthy. There is no soundproofing between rooms nor from the hallway - you can hear everything. But the rooms are clean and have good views. Definitely good value for the price.

Very ran down. No microwave, no fridge, no coffee maker.. ac quit working. Small bugs in room. Hidden fees and desk staff you into an upgrade based on a tip. Let front desk know about the issues they act like they didn’t understand. Reached out to Orbis to file a complaint and try to get moved to a new property and call was dropped. No response or reply.

Great beach view room on 8th floor. Just wonderful, sounds of the beach day and night. Room was nice. Double check for fridge, check out iron with housekeeping, no microwave. Property lobby, pool, bar is amazing and beautiful. Will certainly visit again.

This is a very nice location. While not all inclusive, you get direct access to the beach and are within walking distance from everything. Elizabeth, the lady at the towel desk was very kind. The staff were very attentive. The view from the 3rd floor was great. I got a lot of good pictures of the sunset.

It was a very pleasant stay. The grounds and room were very clean, and the staff was courteous and helpful. We definitely consider going back to the hotel. Its location is great - waterfront with walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment. The restaurant's food is also good.

Check in lady was not too welcoming, but the property was well maintained, well landscaped, with nice view of ocean & pier from our room & good location close to bars & restaurants. Close to malecon & nice sunsets.

Ive been vacationing for several years at the Tropicana. I really enjoy the amenities offered at the Hotel. They have 2 pools, restaurant, plenty of clean bathrooms while your downstairs and no need to go to your room, a big lobby area where you can feel the breeze blowing through. I will always stay here.
