Sensira was more than we ever imagined and we are very satisfied with our stay. We loved the service, the staff, the food options were outstanding although I would like to recommend a third bar. Loved the entertainment they have every day!

The property, staff and cleanliness is excellent . Limited activity especially because of the sea weeds, beach access was impossible and the smell is very bad. They are trying to control it but they couldn’t . The road to that strip with all hotels in the area was horrible . Hotels who doesn’t have direct access to the beach was much better .

Family of 3, with child aged 3 This was our first time at an all-inclusive and Sensira is not too huge nor too small. We generally enjoyed our time and would recommend for families with kids over age 5. Pros: Staff are so friendly. Eva from the buffet restaurant on the main floor was by far the friendliest and kindest server we have met. Thank you for being so attentive! Food is delicious. You must try the steakhouse Rodeo Grill. The fillet mignion is wonderful. As a foodie, I approve of several dishes between the three restaurants they have. Pools. There are various pools and we liked how they hosted activities every afternoon. There is a kiddie area although supervision is a must. Cleanliness. We felt the rooms were cleaned with utmost care and mopped each day. Cons: Not enough umbrellas by the pools. We had to shift from chair to chair throughout the day to cool off. Our friend had to wake up around 6:30 each day to secure the seats. For 14 chairs, there were 4 umbrellas. Not enough activities for kids under 5… height requirements don’t allow for younger kids to do much. The trampoline area is a danger zone, with bigger kids running around while smaller kids are just trying to stay in their zone/area. I saw 2 kids walking out crying because they got hurt inside. Overall, the food was really good and we enjoyed our stay but there should be some changes to the umbrella situation and kids areas.

If you are a picky eater u may want to rethink this trip. Had a very hard time with the dinners. All hamburgers were frozen patties and strange texture menus were somewhat exotic. For little kids plenty of options. Breakfast buffet was amazing every morning I definitely still struggle with the food choices. The hotel staff were amazing the hotel cleaned all kids play areas with a scrub down every day especially the trampoline area! I didn't travel with a child but noticed how clean they did keep kids areas as I passed them every day. Lots for kids to do here! Rooms were wonderful would recommend if you don't have any super picky eaters.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were firm but comfortable. Tons of storage. The resort food breakfast buffet was good, the fish tacos, chicken tenders, and guacamole at the pool side cafe were so good. Most dinners were eaten at the steak house because we didn’t hear great things about the Italian place. We did eat the Mexican restaurant one night but due to difficult service that night, we didn’t return. We did partake in some adult beverages and it seemed like the liquor was watered down so… In saying all that, we would return. It is definitely family friendly and felt safe to let our teenagers run around.

First off I’d like to say that the butlers Marko’s and Raphael went above and beyond to try to make our stay enjoyable. They always worked out dinner reservations at the steakhouse for us and checked in throughout today, letting us know what was going on at the resort. The spa was also fantastic and my husband and I received the best massages we’ve ever had by Reyna. Barbara also was wonderful at the spa. That being said Before even entering the property, you can smell the seaweed that is built up on the beach. This is not the hotel‘s fault, but completely negatively impacted our stay. The smell was atrocious and the beach was unusable. The water was brown. This is obviously out of the hotels Control, but something you should consider if you are traveling to this resort. The pools were lovely. The rooms were lovely most staff was accommodating. I did find it odd that the bartenders took their time to greet you at each bar whether it be the main lobby or the swim up pool bar. The steakhouse was by far the best restaurant on the property. Our servers were amazing and accommodating. But you can’t eat steak every night… The buffet was limited and the offerings did not change much throughout our seven nights stay. We went to the Mexican restaurant, which was terrible. The food was not good and the service took forever. We were very disappointed. The Italian restaurant was just ok. I want to say we had the best time and can’t wait to go back but that’s just not the case.

Although Sensira Hotel is marketed as a 4.5-star resort, I’d rate it a solid 3-star. The staff, however, are outstanding—some of the kindest and most professional people we’ve encountered on vacation. Beach & Seaweed We arrived during peak seaweed season (late July), and unfortunately, the beach was in poor condition. The smell was strong—even from the hotel entrance. Cleanliness Housekeeping needs attention. Dirty dishes were often left in hallways for hours or days. Food The buffet had decent variety and kid-friendly options. It’s not 5-star quality, but we enjoyed it. Pool Seating Issue Getting a sunbed was a challenge—you had to wake up at 5 a.m. to reserve one, and arguments between guests were common. Location The hotel is only about 20 minutes from Cancun Airport, which is very convenient despite the bumpy access road. Great for Families The resort is packed with activities, especially for kids. Our daughter loved every minute and joined in almost everything. Entertainment Evening shows were excellent—fun, lively, and well-organized. Exceptional Service Shoutout to our amazing butler Joao. He quickly upgraded our room after an issue and helped us with everything from reservations to guest concerns. Staff like him truly make a difference and are the reason we’d consider returning.

They employees are so lost, they don’t know any information in regards to the opening and closing times of restaurants, kids club etc. also, the schedule says they open at a certain time and they open whenever they want which makes it difficult to plan tours, breakfasts etc
