Excellent hotel with lovely spa, pool, rooms, foyer and beach. Walk into Makarska takes about 20 mins with lots of bars and restaurants on the way, some quite tacky. Beach access is easy to roped off area away from watersports. Good choice of Excellent food from the buffet, although some hot dishes could be warmer. Rooftop terrace bar is incredible with spectacular views over the bay towards Brac and Hvar. Would definitely return.

My room was wonderful with a view of the sea Food was excellent . Breakfast included and they have great choices including an omelette. Dinner was wonderful too. Staff was very friendly as a solo traveler I felt safe and Kastela has a lovely walk way along the water.
