"What a gem"
We had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very good. It was modern, clean and located close to the airport and to the main city centre. The rate was quite reasonable as well. Really enjoyed our stay.

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful location "
I stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was lovely, the staff and management done everything I asked for as the trip was for a special birthday and they provided prosecco and brought flowers to the room, the rooms are nicely decorated with little extras like tea and coffee, the beds are very comfortable to sleep in. The food at the restaurant was excellent and delicious would recommend a visit even for a small lunch and the added bonus of getting to use the health spa was brilliant and a nice bonus, all in all I would recommend a stay hear

"So spacious and just across the Rd is a bus stop "
This place is amazing! Because parking is simply not possible in the city centre of Edinburgh @ Ocean view apartments you park under cover for free. And,with the bus stop over the Rd coming every 10 minutes it makes it the perfect place to stay. There is a huge ASDA supermarket open 24 hours a 10 minute walk away. The stay is completed by the large size of the apartment and bedrooms complete with ensuite & full size bathroom. Ours apartment was on the ground floor but a walk to the end of the St, turn left and there is the open ocean - magic for sunset photos.

"Gorgeous Hotel, close to Edinburgh and EDI"
We stayed here after visiting the highlands for a week. We needed to fly out of EDI the next day but didn't want the hassle of driving into and staying in the city. This respite was beautiful - enormous rooms, a beautiful spa, and the decor in the dining room, bar and main room is lovely. We stayed in the Paton Suite which has the most gorgeous bathroom and balcony which overlooks the front of the hotel. Our children stayed in the suite next door which was also a big room and was able to accommodate 3 big teenagers. The drive to EDI is very easy as it is an almost direct route, so traffic worries were not a problem during rush hour the next morning. Probably the smartest place to stay if you want to rest up before making your flight home (in our case to the US).

It was very difficult to get a taxi to the hotel we waited about an hour in the hotel was just little over 2 1/2 miles away . As it is summertime and I had two teenage girls with me you wanted to go swimming but the pool was closed

"Nice hotel"
Nice hotel, within easy reach of the motorway and Falkirk, easy check in, we were given a room in the garden wing, which is around the back of the hotel, so you have to go back outside and around the side of the hotel, luckily it wasn't raining as there is no cover. Room was spacious and clean, large bathroom, but the wifi does not work in the garden wing, so no good if you have any work to do. Evening meal was in cooks bar and kitchen across the car park, the food is good and the staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was in the hotel restaurant, only one member of staff for all the customers so luckily we had breakfast early before the rush, breakfast was freshly cooked to order so was piping hot and very tasty.

Powmill is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Powmill, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Powmill hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
