Don’t count on breskfast

Almost everything was unavailable for breakfast. The yogurt machine was out, the pancake machine didn’t work. I wasn’t about to eat the omelet things because of the peppers in it. Needless to say, breakfast was a bummer.

As far as the property and room is concerned, everything was clean and in order. HOWEVER, be very very aware that if you leave anything of value behind you will never see it again even when they admit to having it in hand! I have a text proving my sisters phone was found within minutes of my call to them and I am on week 2 of getting the run around for getting it back. They keep telling me the manager will call me and nothing. I am preparing to file a theft report at this point. Guest services has informed me they cannot get involved so they’re useless in the dispute. After posting this review I was FINALLY able to contact front desk and the person returned my call with an attempt to return the phone. I had to threaten police action. Personally, would not stay here again.

No closet?

The cleanliness of the room was fine and balanced with eco-friendly services. They were not very good at cleaning food cartons out of the hallways. The breakfast is adequate but not particularly good. The hotel itself is quite expensive (I spent about $250 a night) and sits in the middle of a very functional but unattractive mall in South Portland near the airport. Perhaps I’m old-fashioned but I miss a closet and proper drawers for my clothes.

My first time staying at a Tru Hilton property! The rooms are perfect! And I LOVE the various bathroom amenities. They are in mounted dispensers and they are quality products! The beds are comfortable and the pillows are great. Wish we were here for longer than 1 night!! Everything is decorated colorfully which makes me happy!! It’s a great place and very close to the airport. And breakfast in the morning is a plus! As a Hilton Honors member, this is my favorite property so far! Great job!!!

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. My fiance has a bad back and needed extra pillows. The gentleman working the front desk promptly brought them up to us after we requested them. Breakfast was good also. I’d stay here again if I were in the area.
