The hotel was what you would expect for the price. Our room was clean. Bathroom could have been cleaner but it had a smokey smell. They were very accommodating, showed me two other rooms but they smelt musty and offered to let me have a refund. I'm sensitive to smells and the glade/floral smell in the hallways which looked old was overpowering. Again they were very accommodating. Please empty the bucket full of cigarette butts near the door it is gross.

Basic hotel convenient to Freeport Outlets

The hotel has some good features but still needs some continued renovations. The bed was comfortable but the bathroom was dirty. The shower floor has clearly not been scrubbed between guests and the bathroom floor also had grit on it. There was a terrible smell in the room - was it a terrible smelling disinfectant of some sort or was it coming from the carpet? The pictures on the walls were nice but the carpet really needs to be removed from the rooms. That would go a long way towards improving the property. The included breakfast was good. There was only decaf coffee in the room (perhaps the cleaner didn't refill the Keurig pods after the last guest?) but fortunately there was real coffee at the breakfast since we had a long drive to do.

This isn’t a hotel, more like a roadside motel. The front desk area has been updated, but the rest of the motel is dated. Check in was at 3pm and when I arrived at almost 5pm they gave me keys to my room and when I opened the door it clearly wasn’t ready. I asked the housekeeper and he sent me back to the front desk. The woman at the front mumbled something inaudible and gave me keys to a new room. The hallways have a strong odor. Not sure if it’s fabric softener but it’s unpleasant. The rooms are cramped and feel kind of icky. The carpet should be taken up, it feels grimy. The window didn’t lock securely, toilet clogged the first day (urine only). The dresser, tv and remote were dusty and didn’t look clean. Random ants all over. The sheets looked clean but I was honestly afraid to lift the mattress to check for other bugs. They do offer breakfast that’s included in your stay but it didn’t look appetizing. I tried the eggs and they were made from powder. Coffee wasn’t great either. No, I would not recommend staying here. The photos look enhanced after seeing the property in real life. I’m not a “bougie” traveler and I’ve stayed at small roadside inns/motels before that were fine. This was disappointing as they charge hotel prices for a cheap motel experience. I wish I would’ve booked somewhere else.

The odor in all rooms, even the lobby, was offensive. A bad odor can't be covered up, it only mingles and smells even worse. Dog turds, wet tissues, coffee cups, cigarette buttes greeted us at rhe exterior door. Tiles falling off walls in hall and in room. Bathroom tiles (8) were broken. Mold/mildew in shower and on shower curtain. Shower floor was very dirty. The iron had several patches of mold/mildew. Curtain was stained. Curtain was ripped. The odor was so offensive, I definitely didn't partake of any breakfast items. Will not be back.

This hotel was a nice stay for 2 nights while we visited the area. It was fairly inexpensive, clean and convenient location to Freeport. It backs up to the freeway which was quiet the first night (Sunday) but could here the work traffic on a weekday. Wasn’t too loud though that it would wake me up. Nice beds and really nice, big walk in shower. Fridge and microwave in room. The only complaint we have is the continental breakfast was lacking. The egg options on both days were on the dry side. Nothing spectacular about the offerings just the minimum. Free breakfast and free parking was a perk though among hotels on the east coast. Easy and short drive to either Portland or north towards Brunswick or Bar Harbour areas.

when we checked in and went to our room the door was ajar we went to a local restaurant and we made sure that the door was locked when we left and upon returning the door was again ajar, I went to the front desk and was told that house keeping was checking it But the look on his face at first was very worring
