Disappointing. Large room, but poorly maintained. Spots of black mold in the bathroom and lots of chipped paint and a dirty carpet.

Penventon Park Hotel
We were given a free upgrade on arrival. All the staff were very pleasant and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were very clean. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The Queens Hotel
A fairly limited breakfast menu compared to equivalent hotels and prices. The best thing fir is was the view over the sea which was spectacular during stormy weather.

The St Ives Bay Hotel
The room was tired and dated. Windows need replacing as you could hear every car go past. Heating was too hot and on full whack you could save money here. Water pressure was awfully low.
