This hotel was a major disappointment from the moment we arrived. Check-in was chaotic—there was no staff at the front desk, and we had to walk to a bar two buildings away just to find someone to register us. Upon finally receiving our room key, we discovered the room had not been cleaned. We were told it would be another two hours if we wanted it cleaned before check-in. The staff throughout this process was unhelpful and impolite.
The property appears to be severely understaffed, with the same few employees managing multiple motels and bars. The room itself was in poor condition: an outdated 32-inch TV from 2006 with no internet connectivity or streaming options; no air conditioning, ceiling fan, or portable fan; and only a small, barely-opening front window without a screen. The lack of ventilation left the room muggy, musty, and with a strong moldy odor. Lighting was inadequate, giving the space a dark and dingy feel.
For a rate of over $200 per night, the overall condition of the property was unacceptable. The building’s exterior was visibly deteriorating, with siding and roofing coming loose. The staircases were rotting and unsafe. Inside, noise insulation was nonexistent—footsteps from the room above were loud and disruptive, even when occupants were simply walking. To make matters worse, it was 30°C inside when we arrived, with no way to cool the room.
In summary, this stay was overpriced, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. I left deeply dissatisfied and regretful
