The room needs a makeover. Doors missing off coffee/ tea cabinet or remove hinges if meant to be off. Carpet ripped at entry way to kids room. Bathroom wall near sink has toothpaste splatter. Rusty hinges on door and toilet roll holder. Shower slight mould suggest to replace silicon. Block out curtains near king bed has white stains on it. Please note I did hotel auditing for a living so hopefully this will help you. Staff were lovely and very professional. Breakfast room very sad indeed. Not worth having if not done properly. Thank you.

A modern hotel with a hidden historical gem inside

A bit of a pickle while at check in (we were driving all day from Armidale) and so no one was at check in. But it was no problem getting someone to help on the phone, although it took a bit to get the key from the strong box. The stay itself was awesome! A minute walk to the overlook, you won't be disappointed with the view and the local history hidden within the hotel itself and its outlying areas. I recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Convenient for a halfway stop between Brisbane and Sydney. The restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Rooms are cosy and comfortable and clean.

Wonderful friendly staff. room was very clean. no fault of their own but the area is noisy of a night time from people revving engines and doing skids. The bathroom was a squeeze so could make it difficut for anyone only the slightly larger size. Overall i was happy with our stay and would stay again.

mislwading advertisement; room wasnt whats shown in the booking, no parking even though it was advertised as free parking; swimming pool closed for winter even though it was advertised ro have pool; very noisy all night with some sort of machine in the hotel plus road noise; finally biggest one is that the toilet door was a barn door which has huge gaps when closed and no vent in toilet, so, onw done business in toilet, everyone in room can smell it; camping would be better; brekdas offered waa ugly looking croissant and bread; this is not a 4 star hotel

Good place to stay but noisy at night with traffic visiting headland. My husband has a white noise machine so it wasn’t too bad. There is no lift so if you are on the 3rd floor you will have to use the stairs. Although it’s really only 2 flights of stairs so not too difficult. They do offer to help with luggage if needed. Views were awesome from our room 306 and it was a good stop over for the night.
