Rooms are clean and air conditioned.

Although ‘soap’ was included in the bathroom, no shower soap, nor shampoo, was available….handsoap only. This unit is probably OK for a single traveler, but not for couples. Cheap furnishings and poor craftsmanship of finish work…trim, flooring, paint, etc. No air conditioning…just a small ceiling fan, with the pull-chain out of reach to adjust the speed. Regular size bed was mattress only, no box springs. Price was unreasonable for this property. Not impressed and will not return.

Main hot tub was closed. Room was nice and comfortable. Staff was great.

Loved the property and was able to walk right out on the beach. Enjoyed the fires on the beach in the evening. Breakfast was very good. The Concierge was amazing with knowledge and she was so friendly, enjoyed taking with her. Was so nice to have free shuttle take us to the ferry. Was walking distance to restaurants & shops in town. Will definitely stay here again.

Bathtub shower floor was quite slippery while showering. Bathroom sink faucet was too close to the sink edge (so hands were hitting the wall of the sink while trying to rinse) & had no water pressure. Staff were pleasant & friendly but didn’t seem too knowledgeable of their job or their surroundings. Pool & hot tub were very nice. Continental breakfast was minimal but the coffee was good. Location was great! Overall, our stay at Pellston Lodge was quiet & mostly pleasant.

I stayed at the Crown Choice Inn & Suites in Mackinaw City and it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The exterior looks pleasant enough, but that’s where the positives end. Getting to our room felt like navigating a maze through a building that looked like it could fall apart any day — the structure felt genuinely unsafe. The room itself was untidy and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. They advertise the “largest indoor water park,” but it was tiny and the floors around it were filthy. The water itself was so cold our kids refused to get in — a huge letdown for a water park that’s supposedly the main draw of this hotel. There’s a dining area, but no breakfast was actually offered, despite what’s implied. Worst of all was the front desk staff. The receptionist was rude throughout our stay, and when she found out we were considering cancelling, her attitude got even worse — she then filed a report to Expedia about us, seemingly in retaliation.

Booked a two night stay in king jacuzzi room. Table only had one chair which was odd and required we pull table up to bed so we could both eat at same time. No hair dryer in room. Asked at desk 3 times and was told no hair dryers were available. If room did not have one, we were out of luck even though there was a hair dryer holder on the wall. Went and asked if we could be moved to a room with a hair dryer (as ridiculous and unnecessary as that sounds). Was told we could go check another room and take a dryer from there. Management-order more hair dryers for the rooms so that every room has one! You list that they do. And buy more room chairs. Breakfast buffet not really that great. Toast, muffins, donut holes. Fruit loops and Cheerios. Microwave pancakes. Yogurt. Very small biscuits and supposedly gravy. Juices and tea/coffee. We travel a lot and for the price we paid, not very value worthy. Pool was nice and parking convenient. No elevator so have to use steps to second story.
