We booked this resort for the waterpark, and it was fully closed for the first 3 days, and then less than half the rides were opened for the rest of our stay. Staff were not the least bit apologetic, and very low on empathy. The resort was filled with families with children, and there was indication prior to booking that they were going to close the rides. They told us at first it was for safety reasons, and as it turns out, it was just to do a paint refresh. As for the room, AC wasn’t working properly, the sink was cracked, and overall wasn’t super clean. They cleaning crew would leave bags of dirty linens out all day and all night in front our our room, making our experience less than great. Finally, there were a few dining options, however the Mexican buffet was closed all week, which is unacceptable given that we came to Mexico.

Rooms were nice, there was good and bad serving staff. There was no way to get change or cash on the resort. Both ATMs were out of service for over 10 days. There is a lot of walking to get anywhere and the maps are not very helpful. There was only 1 buffet open while here and the food was hot or miss and it got very busy.

The staff was amazing and very friendly, and the food overall was good. However, the food at the buffet was often cold, and the AC in one of our rooms was leaking. I stayed for 4 nights, and it leaked the entire time. I let the staff know, but unfortunately, the issue was never fixed, so I had to place a trash can under it to collect the water.

We booked an adult only supreme room but the adult only section was under renovation so they put us in another section. That should have been communicated to us. Booking speciality restaurant was a challenge because a lot of restaurants were closed. The main pool was in renovations and the adult only pool and beach had children present. We were attending a wedding and one of the guest was bit by a wild animal on reserve which was not pleasant but the resort did cover medical bill .

My first and last time at this property. As soon as I arrived to the property, I waited 2 hours just to get my room assigned to me. When I got to my room the bathroom had a really bad odor! I ask them 3 different times to help me change my room and that took another 5 hours. I had to request to speak to the manager. While changing my room, to my surprise a baby roach was running around the closet.(photos provided to manage), I was extremely disgusted. Another thing I dislike about this property was while walking on the property, there were several moments I had to take my shoes off to walk through a puddles of water, or take another path just to get where I was heading. I did meet an amazing staff member named Marco, extremely helpful and understanding.

Mixed Experience, but Worth It for the Food The room was average—not terrible, but nothing special. Unfortunately, during the last two days of our stay, the bathroom shower clogged and leaked water into the room, creating a mess. We had to call maintenance to fix it. On the bright side, the food was fantastic. If you love Mexican cuisine, this place delivers. The all-inclusive package gives you access to food all day with plenty of options to choose from. The water park was a highlight—lots of fun once you get there. However, navigating the resort felt like being in a giant maze. It’s easy to get lost, so be prepared to ask for directions. The cenotes and the little river were disappointing. I expected them to be better maintained, but the water looked dirty and uninviting. The resort grounds are beautiful, but the layout could use some improvement. Getting from one area to another often felt confusing and time-consuming. Staff were generally helpful, though not always easy to find when you needed assistance. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re looking for great food and a fun water park experience. Just be ready for a few inconveniences along the way. We used Seek & Go for transportation to and from the airport. The service was excellent—punctual and professional. I definitely recommend them for airport transfers, though it’s on the pricier side.

Staff were amazing and helpful. A lot of the buildings leak when raining and the property has a lot of flooded walkways after rain. Property is currently undergoing renovations so not all amenities were available.
