The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Little touches like umbrellas in the room were thoughtful. They saved us from getting soaked during our stay. My only concern was the parking fees were a bit expensive.

The concierge and front desk staff were really great. The location is ideal. The property has undergone some nice updates. The bathroom was not entirely clean nor was the coffee/beverage station in the room. Housekeeping knocked early and got me out of bed. And i never got my folio emailed to me, so that was one shortcomi g of the staff, but mostly everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Not a premium hotel, looks good but poor service

WS a welcome change from other Pittsburgh hotels but the house keeping was bad and constantly left dirty cups either in the room or outside my door… They do not have laundry service on weekends which forced me to buy clothes and just unacceptable for a mainstream hotel. Finally I checked out and left a bag of American snacks in my room to return home with. I contacted the front desk and visited them before I left for the airport, the same person I spoke to didn’t have a clue I spoke to him and lo and behold my bag never arrived. Shocking service, won’t be returning

A Gem in Downtown Pittsburgh

We sought to celebrate a significant life-event in a fine hotel within walking distance of several museums we wanted to visit and could not have made a better choice! From checkin to checkout, General Manager Shawn St. Pierre and his staff took great care of us and made our stay very special, upgrading us to a beautiful suite with the view we had requested and ensuring our every need was met. The bathrooms were sparkling thanks to our housekeeper, Paula; the bedding was cloud-like, and our variable schedules were politely respected. Will happily stay there again.

Fairmount was an amazing place to stay. Definitely worth it when traveling to Pittsburgh. Tons to do and all 3 sports teams are within walking distance of the hotel

My daughter and I ttaveled to Pittsburgh for a dance competition without my husband and we were welcomed with open arms. We felt safe and valued here and the entire staff was as nice as can be and always had a smile on their faces! Very nice except the bathrooms

Valet and front staff were awesome, very attentive. The lobby is beautiful and has a full Starbucks. Got a drink at the 2nd floor restaurant bar, which was extremely nice. The room was nice, but the bathroom was not. It looked very dated. I kid you not, the white grout between the bathroom tiles looked black, but upon closer inspection was ACTUALLY WHITE but just so dark from the dirt over the years. Ew.
