"Beautiful, charming, perfect location"
Located on a square, directly opposite Mozart's house, this graceful and gracious hotel was close to everything we wanted to do. It is within sight of the pedestrian bridge (the "locks bridge") across the river to the old town center. Our junior suite was large and well decorated, with a wonderfully spacious bath. Mirror everywhere. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is a feast and included with the room. Irresistible pastries, abundant and delicious cheeses, slices of ham, prosciutto, turkey ham, fresh fruit, stewed fruit, cereal, yogurt, hot buffet of sausage, bacon and eggs, and eggs cooked to order. There were fresh squeezed juices, and coffee and tea. Jams, preserves, and butter. The staff was hospitable and cheerful without exception. It was a thoroughly pleasant stay, and we will stay here again whenever we return to Salzburg.

"Perfect in Every Way"
This hotel has everything: great location in the Altstadt, friendly and welcoming personnel, beautiful & pleasantly quirky rooms themed to the famous Salzburg Festival of opera/concerts/theater and a top-notch restaurant with very atmospheric seating on the narrow cobblestone street. Our room, #43, was themed to the opera Il Trovatore and had a small terrace from which to enjoy morning coffee and evening drinks, or just to have a little time reading a good book. The in-room refrigerator was well-stocked (initial supply of beverages is included, after that, requires payment), and in-room coffee and tea were on hand, all of good quality. Very comfortable and pleasant, so highly recommended.

"Convenient location and beautiful hotel "
From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to love Salzburg and this beautiful hotel only made us love this city more - It was quite difficult to find as the signs are for Hotel Alstadt and there is just a small Radisson Blu sign on the wall but our welcome could not have been more genuine. The staff were amazing , kind and helpful . The room was ready when we arrived at 11am though check in was not until 3pm and was absolutely beautiful . The decor was exquisite and had all the facilities we required .Conveniently situated in the beautiful old town we just had to step outside to find beautiful shops , amazing old buildings and a cafe culture . Our room though overlooking the street was so quiet and we slept very well .Breakfast was beautiful , presentation was excellent and well worth the money - it was possible to get a cooked breakfast for no additional charge. I would recommend this hotel without reservation and we loved it so much we have already booked to go back in December for the Christmas market.

"Beautiful Hotel with a beautiful view"
The room was excellent with a very nice view to the mountains, everything was clean and beds are really comfortable. I asked for laundry and the owner promised me that he would have it by the end of the day ready and he complied. Klaus is the owner and he is a very trusted person, I forgot money on the safe and he helped me to transfer it to my bank account. I highly recommend this hotel, because of the place, the location (Grodig) and specially because of the quality of person that manages it. The breakfast is awesome, a lot of varieties to choose from, excellent coffee, breads, cheeses, etc. With no doubt I would come back to the Sallerhof. Thanks!!!!

"outstanding"
The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The views are amazing and the hotel is something out of a good movie. The staff were terrific. We went on a guided one hour torch nature walk that the hotel puts on Friday night. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Piding is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Piding, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Piding hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
