My husband and I loved this pretty little hotel. It was conveniently located about 5 minutes from the train station on a corner lot with a nice courtyard in the front. The room was nice and comfortable.

The hotel was nicely renovated with quirky details but still filled with rich history. We love the small details and the amenities and also the complementary wellness zone with sauna was a nice touch. The location being walking distance to the station was also great because we can carry our heavy luggages without much trouble. And although it is next to a busy road, it wasn’t noisy or chaotic once we entered the building.

We just did a two week trip between five European cities and our stay in Salzburg was by far the best of our trip. We loved everything about our stay at the Design Hotel zum Hirschen Salzburg. The room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom felt private, and the staff were very friendly. Next time we are in Salzburg, this is where we will stay.
