"A nice stay, good value. "
We were greeted like friends when we arrived. The young man took us too our room, while carrying my luggage and showed us around. Got the TV working for us, and also went through how everything worked. We booked our room to include breakfast and it was great. The service and value were exceptional. We also booked their driver to pick us up at the airport. He was there waiting, with a sign so we could find him right away. I really don't know how they do that since the customs at the airport can be delayed and have you waiting which means the driver is also waiting.

"A wonderful hotel in a great location. "
This hotel was a jewel that my friend, who lives in Costa Rica, recommended to us. For those of you who need to be in the San José area (we were going for a wedding and made it our summer vacation) this hotel is a wonderful option. It's modern, the rooms have ample space, beds are comfy and it's very clean. And as a bonus: you have a museum collection of art all over the hotel. The pool are is very nice, we received friends there and it was very pkeasant. And the price is very reasonable and includes a very fresh and sufficient buffet breakfast. Also, there are restaurants right outside of the hotel, crossing the street and Momentum Lindora, where you find several great restaurants, is just over 2km away. We mover around in uber (there wifi everywhere) and we even took the bus to Lindora which is just 5 min away. The more days we spent there, the more we found.

"No Queen beds as offered"
We selected this hotel since it offered two queen beds in a room, however when we got to the hotel, they only had two full beds or double beds, when we approached them, they claimed full beds are queen beds for them, and they didn´t offer the queen beds as in the expedia site advertised.

"Charming"
The hotel was small and lovely. It was very clean and comfortable although my room did get a little warm late in the afternoon. The location was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It's a short 5 minute walk to several major museums, park, restaurants and souvenir market. The hotel has a delicious breakfast buffet included and lovely patio cafe bar. My only negative comments would be the bed was a little hard for my taste and very limited English tv.

Hotel Aeropuerto - Alajuela Hotels

"Very convenient to the airport, lovely grounds"
For a place so close to the airport, the grounds around this hotel are gorgeous. Butterflies are everywhere, and rooms are relatively clean for the price. The restaurant is great. Their literature, found in the room, suggests they can help you get from place to place, plan tours, etc. However, the front desk help didn't even know where the car rental desk at the airport was or how to help order a car. They didn't know how to help me get bus tickets either. Finally, my new criteria for an acceptable hotel is whether the water in the shower drains or if you end up standing in 6 inches of dirty water as you shower. At hotel Aeropuerto you end up standing in six inches of water. It's not a terrible hotel, but I would have been much happier if I could have gotten more help from the folks at the desk and if my shower had drained.

Patarra is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Patarra, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Patarra hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
