The property is old and worn. The room was clean but stunk from cigarette smoke.

Amazing property.

Very clean and comfortable with a cute kitchenette area and full size fridge. Maybe we didn't operate it correctly, the room felt a little warm, we turned it down to 62 when we got there. Before we went to sleep I turned it up to 68, felt warm all night. Not sure if their regulating the temperature or that particular room wasn't functioning properly?

The room is was clean, but definitely worn. The bed was so-so. Just a sheet and a thin cover. The elevator was out of service, and the single luggage cart was falling apart and had the top tied together.

Unfortunately, they are under construction. Currently outside and changes around the entrance in which you can come in. It sounds like they are about to start on the inside as well, so I will probably give it a year before I come back. They have do not disturb signs on one side and please make up the room on the other. Unfortunately, they want you to put it on the peephole rather than on the door handle because they say sometimes it gets turned around. I have never in 40 years of travel ever seen this, nor was I aware, so my room did not get cleaned up. I told the manager if you have something like that that requires an explanation, then maybe you should change the sign and just get do not disturb signs. and clean up the other rooms. I only got a refund for the two subsequent days that I decided not to stay although he initially thought he might be able to get me half off of the second day. At the very end he said, well we could change your room if you wanted, and of course I was already packed up by that time, so I declined. I would’ve accepted that earlier in the conversation however. Inside the room is well dated. They call them suites, but they’re more just long rooms with a sitting area. Lots of stains and tears and carpet pulled up. I appreciate the snack and drink on check-in, and in general the staff was polite and professional. Breakfast looked decent, although I just had coffee. All in all, I’m going to give them two stars and plan on staying in a year.
