The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs.

It’s like a renovated dormitory. Nice and quiet, easy to get on campus via bus. The bed is perfect, not too soft nor too firm.

I’m really pleased I booked to stay here for the night. The hotel is on a nice quiet street just off a main road with lots of shops, restaurants and is well connected to the bus network. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed (I slept brilliantly). I would stay again.

Newly renovated room, comfortable beds. Shower new but very small, and you must be careful to regulate water temp as the hot is VERY hot. The big showerhead can be moved to the side so that the water is not coming down directly on your head, and shower caps are provided. We were very comfortable here, and close to the bus line.

The accommodation was of a very high standard and the staff excellent at helping me with secure entrance to the building/ room. Bus stop into town is very close by. There are no public rooms, so it's more like an apartment building than a hotel. As a lone traveller, I felt a bit isolated - no staff after 9 pm and my phone wouldn't work - but as accommodation, everything was first rate .

Crown Hotel - A little Jewel!

Really amazing. Spotless. Ideally set back from main road so quiet, despite pub nearby which was always quiet and peaceful. Very convenient and easy walk for city centre. Staff so very helpful, for which we were most thankful. No food as expected but Tesco Express close by for breakfast takeout. Five minutes walk to Fresco Italian family owned restaurant for dinner: worth visit to Oxford just for that!
