I found that the pictures online don’t match too well the inside. There was a lot of stuff that was not cleaned in our room areas in the bathroom were dirty. Walls in the bedroom had fingerprints from Cheetos of some sort or just dirty hands.I don’t like the fact that I couldn’t just call the front desk because the rooms do not have a phones. I had to use my cell phone to call anywhere local because I’m not from Ottawa so I will be charged for that. I don’t really like that. I had to go on a chat when I had issues with the room because I had to wait longer than it should have to have the issues resolved. I also asked for an extra blanket and they didn’t have extra blankets available, which I find odd, because why wouldn’t you have extras? You have a fold out couch as an option that had no blankets on it so in that case and they don’t have extra bedding, they shouldn’t promote it as a spot to sleep. The pullout couch was also very uncomfortable. You can feel every single pool through that thin mattress. Maybe it was because all they gave me was a sheet to cover myself with. I also did not like the fact that I had to pay extra to check in early and when I arrived to check in early, even though I had paid already, they told me that they never received the request and my room wasn’t ready. I had to still wait and I was never offered any compensation at least for half of what I paid even though they never had me in on time for what I had paid for and I think that’s ridiculous.

Sondor at The O'Connor is so secure, clean and well-maintained. Our studio apartment was very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our four night stay. We have already recommended it to others and we would not hesitate to stay there the next time we visit our family and friends in Ottawa.

I asked for an early check in which was around 9 am which was agreed upon by the person on the phone but when my gf and I showed up it turned out the note he made was just that I wanted to check in early but not at what time. So we had to wait in the hotel lobby from 9 am until 4 pm to check in ! Besides that the stay was amazing and I would come again (as long as the correct notes are made)

Suite was bright, clean and stylish. The building is in a nice area that's very walkable to pubs, restaurants and stores. I love the idea of everything being controlled by the Sonder app, but this worked better on paper than in reality. The door lock was often glitchy, taking a few tries before it would unlock from my phone. Sometimes, it wouldn't unlock at all or accept the PIN code listed in the app. I got on chat with Sonder via the app, and they took over an hour to respond to me. Luckily, my friend was inside the room and heard me knock in the middle of the night to let me in. The AC unit in our room broke in the early morning hours and we woke up to the room heating up. I also messaged Sonder through their app chat, and didn't get a response for over an hour. When they did respond, they just said "thanks for letting us know" with no indication on when or if they would fix it. Overall I liked the place, but these snags took away from our experience.

The facility as a whole was really nice. The service/support staff were very accommodating when we needed batteries for all of the remotes or more towels But the windows were really dirty. Some of the furniture in the unit was worn out with a lot water/glass stains. There were different peices of broken trim in the unit.

Excellent location for accessing downtown Ottawa and the airport. Lots of amenity within easy walking distance. Suite was clean and equipped with all the basics for a comfortable stay. However, very limited concierge service onsite and had to resolve a maintenance problem by using call centre assistance; over 7 days only saw someone at front desk once and number for text message assistance left on counter was not in service.

Excellent location, beautiful, clean, spacious rooms; found it took a while to get in contact with support thru chat, phone, and text - would appreciate more up front information re: early check-in policy and location of parking garage.
