The room was immaculate and HUGE. The view was amazing. It was quiet and so peaceful. We have everything we needed. The Continental Breakfast...not so good. we came down and did not stay.That could use improvements.

A hidden gem!

The Ramada on the Rideau is a hidden gem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is conveniently near to major sites in Ottawa. The proximity to the Rideau and the canoe and kayak rentals was a major plus. We stayed there to attend a family funeral and the staff was very considerate and kind. Special thanks to Kiran and Mary Ann for their kindness during our difficult time.

Our room did not have cold water at bathroom sink taps and we had to run the water tap for at least 10 mins to get warm water to shower. Not impressed with breakfast; sausage was not edible.
