Great location! The staff was friendly and helpful. Was nice parking was right beside. Breakfast was great. Had to buzz in to get in after hours which was nice to feel safe. Ratatouille Bistro down the street was amazing for dinner. Room had a balcony overlooking their garden which was nice. Would absolutely recommend.

Clean, spacious, earth conscious, helpful staff, comfortable and large room, exceptional cleaning staff. Overall, one of the best places weve stayed at. The complimentary breakfast is yummy and classy with real plates, bowls, etc. Walking distance to everything you want to do in OTTAWA. Very close to all things byward market!

This was our first time staying at Byward blue inn and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a fantastic location - can walk to major attractions and restaurant options are varied and plentiful and all close by. The hotel itself is the coziest, quaintest place we've ever stayed in. From the whimsical paintings in the hallways and stairwells to the super friendly and helpful staff, we really felt at home and welcome! Our room was spotless ( including the bathroom)and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the balcony and liked spending time relaxing on it. The bed, for me was just okay comfort wise but other than that, i have zero complaints. To top it all off, the complimentary breakfast was basic but still more than we expected! This will be our first choice in hotels the next time we're in Ottawa - highly recommed!
