The hotel is very good, as central to Oslo’s highlights as it gets. They provided a light meal in the evenings which we took advantage of, and breakfast in the mornings. Both were very good! The rooms are very clean and modern. The hotel is undergoing light renovations now but otherwise it was fine for our stay in Oslo.

Very clean, great breakfast buffet and super location ….. however the bar next door is very loud with music till 1 am … so hopefully you are a deep Sleeper or like myself use earplugs. Folks at reception super nice

The location was great - very easy to walk to the harbour and the royal palace, shops nearby and the marathon course was literally outside. The price included a free breakfast which was excellent with loads of choice

This hotel was well located to explore Oslo and the rooms were clean and comfortable, however only one elevator was working for the 3 days we stayed. The buffet was superb with good and interesting variety of foods provided

Buffet service George and Emily outstanding service Elevator one of which does not function Tiny little room, all staff would say “ we are fully booked!!” At least Miss TOMA would say differently but some staff are blunt No way I could get a better room for 3 nights I’m globalist with Hyatt Platinum with Marriott Diamond with Hilton Tried your independent hotel.. there’s no comparison., you have a long way to go to impress and improve

Ae had a quick over night stay in Oslo. The hotel was easy to access from the Express train via airport. Hotel location is close to plenty of sight seeings attractions Oslo has to offer.

Hotel was a perfect location to enjoy the sights of Oslo. Easy walk from National Theater stop from airport. Easy to access tram for sights further away. As all Thon hotels, amazing breakfast buffet, wonderful service and we were allowed an early check-in. As a bonus, we were upgraded to a junior suite looking out onto the Parliament Building!

Hotel Thon Cecil is in a great location. It is close to all the sites in the harbor area and also the center of Oslo with its shops and restaurants. Although the room was clean and updated it was very small. It was hard to navigate around and find a place to put my suitcase.
