A rather unique setup in terms of its checking in and out and the apartment is very well designed in which you can do a bit of cooking if you wanted to. There’s a washing machine in the apartment which is very convenient for the guests to use too. Great location and pleasant environment.

It's minutes away from Shin-Osaka station, restaurants close by. Checking quite complicated. Two tablets to be used, first the left one with QR code and second one to call somebody to confirm!!!

Minn Shin‑Osaka is a great small hotel just a few minutes’ walk from JR Shin-Osaka Station. The rooms are clean, modern, and come with a kitchenette and washing machine—perfect for short or extended stays. A Lawson is just around the corner, and there are several small local restaurants nearby, making meals easy and convenient. The area is quiet, and access to trains is excellent. Self-check-in is smooth, though there’s no luggage storage and no dryer (washer only). Still, for comfort, location, and value, it’s a solid pick for travelers on the go.

Great location near Shinkansen Osaka station coming from Tokyo, room’s a bit unkempt but decent for the value, might be difficult to some with the whole virtual concierge/no one at the desk concept.

Stayed for family of 5 in a room. The check in process is a bit confusing. But we finally figured out how to contact someone on the IPad provided at the front desk. Overall, the space and size of the place is just right. It is close to transportation and convenience store which is a plus. The cost for the value is ok, a little higher than I expected. Overall good experience.

The mattresses were comfortable but the pillows were a bit off and the bunk beds were somehow shaky and creaking. The ladder on the bunkbeds have some cracks which made them a bit wobbly. There was plenty of charging slots and power points. Kitchen area is just nice size for 1 person working. Toilet is nicely separated from the shower room and heated bidet, awesome. Washing machine worked well but didn't dry it properly. At least there was a drying rack. AC and humidifier worked well. The blinds and the sliding paper door really gave us privacy and enough cover from spring morning sunlight. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around. And the Family Mart around the corner is always busy in the morning. They do have quite a selection for quick dinner too. Shin Osaka is just 5 minutes walk from here which made Minn Shin Osaka our best stay yet. We were never really too tired walking back after a long day travelling as it was just around the corner from the station.

Overall a very convenient apartment style hotel very close to Shin Osaka Station. The place was spacious and had a small kitchen, washing machine and a bunk bed perfect for kids. The only issue was that check in was virtual so if there any problem with access, there was not really anyone on the premises readily available to help out. When we had an issue accessing the room, it took a while to resolve, although the staff was very helpful once we could find someone. The rest of the stay was smooth and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for families. A great value!

No humans at front desk

We are on the road booking hotels as we travel from city to city. I try to look for places with manned front desks, but was disappointed to find out when we got to the property that there were only 2 ipods there. Email they sent me was that i would be greeted upon arrival. We couldn't leave luggage nor check in early. I understand about early check-in, but we had to drag our luggage back to train station and put it in locker, then back to the hotel. After that we were given codes for the property and room. The room was spacious, but only had a double bed ? There were 2 benches that could be used for futons, but not great for a couple. Our stay was fine after we were able to check in

The property is very close to Shin-Osaka train station. Close to a few good restaurants and convenience stores. The property is clean. They have a remote check-in. A quick face to face call with an operator gets you all setup with a pass code for your apartment. All is done through tablets available at the main lobby.

Enjoyed our stay at Shinn. Property was super clean and check in and check out process was smooth (everything's done digitally). Train station is 800 metres away but we chose to Uber due to time constraints. Family mart is a close 100 step walk away from Minn which is definitely a plus.
